Good Quality Education & Infrastructure

Overall positive remarks from my side. It ain't no NLU, but for what it is it provides exceptional quality of education, with nice infrastructure, good crowd and helpful faculty. I am content in what the college is providing in terms of quality.

Course curriculum is very well. Since it's a 5 year integrated course, the first 2 years have B.a subjects such as history, political science, economics etc. After the 2nd year only law subjects are there and specialization in a specific branch of law can be done in the last 2 years. Internships are given a lot of importance as the profession of a lawyer is a practical one, so the more practical experience the better. Exam structure is as follows, Internal examinations once per semester of 30 marks. Viva of 100 marks. And External end term examinations of 70 marks at the ending of the semester. Internals and Viva marks are calculated to be out of 30.

Placements are relatively less on campus and only students with top level mark sheets are bound to get picked up, however most students find employment themselves based on the college name and the skills they've acquired. Internship is compulsory 3rd year onwards and the college provides various opportunities in various courts under various advocates.

2 yearly fests are celebrated in the college. One is of the Bca department and focuses more on tech and job opportunities and other such activities. Other is organized (Spandan) by Bjmc department and is quite popular and is well known for being a good enjoyable fest with music and celebrations.

The fee structure is rather feasible for being a semi private college and for the infrastructure and facilities it provides, other private colleges for the same course charge upwards or 2 lacs per annum. 80k per year for Ba.llb is pretty reasonable imo

Scholarship is only provided to people belonging to EWS category, it isn't provided on any other grounds. There procedure to avail it is to have the proper documentation of the certificate and to give interview explaining the situation at the main University campus. Haven't personally availed so deeper information not available

Lots of extra curriculars are there. Being a law student moot courts are regularly organized, there is special moot Court room with all the relevant infrastructure, which is really helpful as mooting is an essential part of law. Other than that a huge computer lab is available, and a special one with high end computers is available for Bca students. Large enough field is also there for sports and activities cricket and basketball are played usually.

Alumni have gone on to have really successful careers in judiciary, prosection, and corporate law sectors. And are more than keen to take workshops in college giving motivation and information to the students. Seniors are also very helpful and can be easily reached out for help in matters which they have already experienced.

Faculty is really nice. Well educated professors, very knowledgeable in their respective subjects. All the faculty are lawyers themselves so they also give practical insights into the profession. Helpful and willing to go the extra mile to clear up doubts of the students. All in all really good faculty.
