Our college is good atmosphere,good study

No negative remarks about our collegeo companies coming to the campus for recruitment. None of the students got placed until now. The management is trying its best to place the students in best companies to have a better future. Infrastructure : As the college was established last year, there is some construction work going on. The campus is spread over 200 acres and also has hostel facilities. The campus is centrally air-conditioned. The central library has many books. Classrooms have projectors for a practical approach. Faculty : Faculty members are experienced. They all are graduates and have completed their PhD in their particular subject. They are friendly with students. They are from top universities. They are available for every student to clear their doubts. They solve the doubts and explain to us

Good structre and course is tough but faculity is good experienceGrading of the B.Tech Exam is the determination factor on whether the candidates move to the next semester. A benchmark is created. If any of the students score below the level then they will be awarded the fail grade. This varies from 40% to 50%. Clearing of back papers in B.Tech Exams is also very important. In some places it is also known as allowed to keep terms (A.T.K.T). Though the students move on to the next semester they will need to clear the same. As per the new norms if the candidates have A.T.K.T. in the 1st and 2nd Semester then they will need to clear the same by 5th Semester. It is important that they do not have A.T.K.T. during the final year as it could impact their final placements.

The eligibility criteria varies from company to company and institute to institute. While a company might keep their CGPA cutoff at 7, another might not keep any such cut-off. Also I have seen that a company keeps a cut-off of 7.0 in NIT Trichy and keeps 6.0 in IIT. Similarly, a company may be open for all (like Facebook) or maybe open to only CSE (like Microsoft at NITT) or open to all circuital branches only like ECE, EEE etc. Almost all these companies visit campus for internships but that also depends on their requirements and needs. It doesn't mean that one cannot apply offline or get selected via other means like GSoC.

The department admits about 78 students every year in the B.Tech. program and 50 students in the M.Tech. program. 27 students are admitted to the dual-degree program, which results in students getting both a BTech and an MTech degree at the end of 5 years. There are about 15 students registered in Ph.D. program at a time. The department has recently started M.S. program, which is mainly focussed in research in various domains of Computer Science. There is one software engineer and five other staff attached to the laboratory facilities. Besides, there are a number of research engineers working in various sponsored projects.

Good facultyAfter B.Tech you first become a Lecturer , Further Senior Lecturer, you complete your masters of engineering/ technology and become Assistant professor… take some experience…. complete your doctorate and you become an Associate professor… more experience and a Post doctorate you become a Professor. its not an easy task
