Course Curriculum Overview

3

Previously veterinary had a semester pattern. Now, it's a yearly pattern with a total of 4 exams each year. 3 internal exams and 1 external exam. Many profs prefer ppts but the best ones give handwritten notes and make you write in class without relying too much on tech.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly we pay ?600000. The fee can be paid all year long. The registration fee which has to be paid every year before the final exam amounts between ?1200-?1600. The practical Manuals, assignment flexes etc costs have to be borne by the students. In case you are in the top 5 rankers in the university exams, you get cash prizes/scholarship. The 1st ranker gets ?500000 and the 5th one gets ~?50000. The locals of Rajasthan have lesser fee. The admission happens through RPVT, VCI Counselling and Management Seats.

Campus Life

3

There are not many cultural fests and all. Freshers, diwali party, ganpati festival, Onam is celebrated. Many conferences are also hosted by the college. I proud to tell that I started the first club of the college. It deals with wildlife and is called Apollo Wildlife Club.

Hostel Facilities

2

There's a common dining area. Food is served 4 times a day. Food is purely vegetarian. No non veg is allowed in the mess, fridge or kitchen. Food is mostly average unless another living organism is found in it.

Admission

I wanted a seat in Maharashtra but also wanted to get away from home to explore different cultures and grow holistically. Admission process was time consuming and tedious since I had to commute from Maharashtra.

Faculty

3

As I mentioned earlier, the faculty is transient. Some are good and some are not. Some professors are knowledgeable some are not. Some are cooperative, some are not. The best faculties: Dr Komal Khichar (Microbiology, Anatomy) Dr Pooja Yadav ( Microbiology) Dr Mahmuda Malik (Pathology) Dr Shivaji Pawar (Nutrition) Dr Rizwan Khan (VPH) Dr Sabhyata Sharma (Parasitology) Dr Abhinav Meena (Parasitology) Dr Kusum Meghwal (Surgery) Dr Deepa Meena (Surgery) (Sadly, all have left now) The level of internal exams depends on the faculty. The external examination paper is moderate with a fair balance of questions unless there's a mishap or unfair means suspected.

Exams are held every 3 months which is a pretty good thing. The scope in veterinary is a lot be it in Armed forces. Ngos sanctuaries. MNCs. Or clinics n hospitals or even private practice. You get the satisfaction of helping your patients. Which are animals so even better to help them

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good, in the first year itself the students need to indulge with the field practices like feeding restraining and in the physiology subject, blood tests and all make us feel that we are becoming doctors and will treat animals who can't even speak The frequency of exams are every 2 months and they are not that difficult. If a student studies 2 hours daily he can easily ace them

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Vsc and AH is a five and a half year unndergrad program, in which you will study about the animal, their diagnosis, treatment, nutrition, genetic development and what not. You will study about Ruminants, Dogs, Cats Horses, Birds, Lab Animals as well as Captie wild animals also. You will be facing three internal exams along with externals. They can be tough but the trick is learning, sitting for tests and revision. This program may seem easy but it is more tough and complex than any other medical program, as you will be dealing with multiple animal species at a time.
