Bachelor's in Science is the common option for maximum students in science field. It provides us much more field to explore about science and it's applications. The curriculum is also designed in that way. We get to learn much more in every semester and graduation year.

Various internship opportunities are offered to outstanding performing students. Students are offered programs from other universities and companies on the basis of their performance. Internships are also offered on the basis of research work and projects. Post graduation students and students enrolled in professional course are provided with such opportunities.

Tuition fee is structured semester wise. As for different semester it varies according to number to practical subjects and semester of the course. Economically weaker sections get some relaxation in the fee after getting approved of their application. As of the 3rd year of my course I paid lumpsum amount of rs 3310 for my course, having 2 major practical subjects (zoology and botany). There is no relaxation in fee for any category student. But student can apply for scholarship through category certificate. There are scholorships available for students but most of them demand income certificate. Like scholarship from National Scholarship Portal. It demands above 60%in a graduation year for application and provide ?12,000 per annum.

Annual fest are generally held in the month of July or August. Recent fest was Suramya and was organised for 3 consecutive days by the student union. Books and journals are available in the library. There is a separate reading room in the library for students to study over there. Students can get books using their student identity card and library card. Course books are pretty much available in the library. College students are active in sports and other activities as well.

Initially I went for Kumaon University Nainital and Campus of Bageshwar as well. I got my names for both the colleges but i wanted good faculty for my studies and guidance so I chose Almora campus for my graduation. It is simple to register for the University admission through the official site of University available on internet. We register ourself and then in the selection process students are selected on the basis of their marks and percentage of class 12th and list is arranged on the basis of reservation applied. There is different marks eligibility for different courses.

Faculty to student ratio is satisfactory. There is proper availability of professors when in need. Faculty is cooperative and well behaved with students. Everything is manageable within every department. Dr. Mukesh Samnat in Department of Zoology Dr. Manjulata Upadhyay in Department of Botany Dr. Devendra Singh Dhami in Department of Chemistry These are some professors are most preferred in different departments. No faculty member is less. Exams in the campus are quite moderate. There are tough as well as easy questions but the ratio is fine to score well in exams. Relevancy of course curriculum is good as well. It is designed by professors and deans of various departments.
