Course Curriculum Overview
As im pursuing a course in electronics and communication i find it very interesting and intriguing. This course involves a lot of real time application scenarios and hands on experience.This course is desined in a way such that completing this will enable the student to pursue a career in both hardwar and soft part of engineering . I feel that there is a lack in programming languages and should include them.
Placement Experience
Comparitively my college provides good campus placements. Students are tarined for placements from the 3rd semester and are asked to sit for placements from 6th semester. The placements packages range from 6 lakhs to 50 lakhs with the most common one being the 10lakh range. Approximately 85% of people in my course are likely to get placed in campus interviews.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees for my college is 2lakhs. This incluse tuition fees, placement fees, e-learning fees and book fees. The book fees and e-learning fees is 25000 each and the placement fees is about 50000 and tuition fees is 1 lakh per year. The fees for my course is this while other specializations year wise fees range from 2-6 lakhs. There are various scholarships available for first graduates and 7.5% category.
Campus Life
Campus life in EEC is very good especially because it combined 3 campus of engineering colleges . They organize annual fests new year events and a lot of extra curricular sports events including both inter college and intra college. The library is very accessible and consists of a lot of general books that come of use not only for exams but also for governments tests and much more
Admission
I was not very keen on joining this college before. I wanted to get into college of engineering guindy. I was very impresses with the exposure of CEG. However i couldnt get into that college as it high standards. Then i preffered easwaring engineering college considering the naac grade and vast availability of courses and also because it is located in the city.
Faculty
Most of the faculties in my college are very experienced and knowledgeable. They share as much as their knowledge as possible. The marking schemes in between each semester is very reasonable including 2 internal assessments and 2 cycle tests. This includes various activities and assignments.
