Institute Review of C.C.S.U. (S.C.R.I.E.T.)

I choose the B. Tech in computer science and engineering because I influenced with the computer since 8th standard, the languages and creative aspects of technology are deeply indebted in me. The curriculum is off the base means not good enough to match the competition of todays world because the books are out of date and the faculty also goes on repetition basis only. The basic need to improve is the books and the formal behavior towards the subject not only on theory basis but practical basis also. The difficulty level of exams are moderate and the strictness is on peak because only 75% students with attendance can give exam and checking is strict during examination.

The internship quality is good enough you can vet recommendations through faculty as well as through seniors but you have to apply yourself. The companies like wipro, tcs, Q-spiders, etc. You have basic skills to qualify interview rounds like dsa, web development, app development, etc.

The placements of my institute are very low, and students become eligible for placements from 7th sem. and for internships from 2nd year. Tech Mahindra, Q-spiders, Wipro, etc, rarely companies visited for computer science branch and took very low amount of students from here. The highest package was 22 lpa in year 2023. The percentage of students placed is roughly 40%. I'm planning to do M. Tech through GATE exam from IITs.

The overall experience is good in my institute because you can get maximum time for preparing anything in campus and the fests are also done in institute but on very low scale like garba eve, hakathons, etc. The library provides every book regarding couse and beyond it also like literature and many more. The classrooms are equipped with projectors and seminar hall therefore it could be ease for ppts and lectures. The sports are very likely to be playable because there are 2 types of tornament done in institute: 1st is institute level in which branch wise distribution is done 2nd is hostel level in which hostel wise distribution is done The clubs and groups are run by students like S.C.C. and S.L.C.C. in which only students can participate and benefit for institute to institute and for themselves also many programs are arranged by clubs, I'm also member of scc club (sub-head social media).

The best thing I liked about my institute is the hostel facility. The room is quiet spacious and good for 2 people and only 2 people are allowed to reside in 1 room, there are 2 tubelights, 2 fans, 2 table-chairs, 2 beds for residents. For toilets and bathrooms these are common and hostels are open in area. (Yearly fees structure) The fees of hostel room rent is 4180. The fees of hostel mess is 27000. The security for room rent is 2000. (Refundable) The security for hostel mess is 2000. (Refundable) Total fee is 35180. (Changes every year) Quality of food is good enough, menu is also made by residents of hostel and room is also quietly spacious. The allotment is done as first come and first served, if you come after fulled of hostel then you get no room. First register on portel of hostel and then submit hard copy as soon as possible. I recommend hostel over pg because they cost high with no arrangements of food availability.

I chose this institute because it is government and with Naac A++ rating and the other colleges are either private or naac ranking was low. The fees also was higher of other institutes, that's why I didn't took admission in other institutions (like Galgotias, I.M.T. Ghaziabad, etc.) The dream college of mine was N.S.U.T. but due low rank in jee mains I wasn't able to take admission in it. The admission process of my institute is direct entry as well as through counseling process with uptac. I take admission through counselling with uptac through jee mains score. My rank was 230459 in year 2022.

The faculty of my institute is good in supporting students in their projects, internships and personal issues but not in taking lectures faithfully. The faculty of agriculture engineering department is best according to me because of their co-relation with students and having healthy mentor relationships with students. I don't like my own department faculty because they don't want to interact with the students heartly, only formality basis. There are mainly 3 exams in each semester (total 8 sem. or 4 year): 1st sessional of 20 marks 2nd sessional of 20 marks (From 1st and 2nd sessional only best one is considered) Assignments/Projects of 10 mark (20 + 10 marks are internal)(in the hand of faculty) End semester exam of 70 marks (70 marks are external)

No, there were no interviews and group discussion rounds for admission process but you need to give their own entrance exams or take admission through jee mains score. I came through jee mains score thats why i don't know about entrance exam.
