Know my college

I am currently in mechanical engineering because I had interest in machines specially robotics and automobiles the curriculum is very nice and I believe that it may prepare us for the future needs and mechanical sector. Medicine to the curriculum the clubs also makes you a better engineer in clubs like SAE ,Dic ,Gdsc etc you may get opportunities for various valuable projects and to take part in competitions of national and international levels which may decorate your CV. The the teaching method of faculties is quite impressive they have friend behaviour except song most of the teachers are regular and complete the syllabus on time with the constant speed. Coming to examination and timing of examination the timing of examination for minors is one and half hour and for Major is 3 hour. Just before starting of major you get one week of study leave and before study leave the practical examinations are conducted which are again of 3 hours each. Even after much machines and development still there is a need of modern machines and technology to be settled and college most of the machines are of old indicates and are not much used in industries which must be changed. Some new subjects should be introduced and all topics should be cut off pr omitted.

I have not searched about this topic much and currently I am in second year third semester so I don't know much about that and that's why I can't answer this question. But as per my negligible knowledge the seniors get internship options from good companies and best on their project they get good packages.

From 6th semester the student gets started getting offers for placements. Mahindra Google Microsoft Amazon TCS LNT LinkedIn PTC awesome companies which visits our college. Number of offers made where 352 for which 500 students applied and 340 got selected. Number of offers made and selection ratio depends on the branch in which id has the best selection ratio and biotech has the worst selection ratio the average package of the college is 15 lpa and highest is 25 lpa. My plan is to prepare for government examination after getting the degree.

All the fees is concluded under tuition fees which is 75000 approx per semester. Some students under EWS category merit based gets tfw scholarship seats which offers them to only pay 22000 per semester. Examination fees per semester is 3200 & for EWS category is 2100. This college is government that is why no extra type of charges are implemented only tuition fees and examination fees.

Goonj and legacy are the toothpaste conducted each year in which goonj is the main fest of uiet. Goonj is conducted near about late February and it is conducted for 3 continuous days in the last day singer is called for performance and last year Billa came. All the books required for the branch are available in library of all the publications you require and some fictional books are also there for entertainment as per your interest you can pick it from there you can su v books at a time for 14 days. Aur college has 15 to 16 clubs some of our inactive and summer active . We have some technical clubs like society of automotive engineering, gdsc, jugaad, digital innovation centre and some non technical clubs for dance arts and Nukkad nataks are Mac board autonomy etc. some more clubs are like comic tribe ,BPC etc. clubs provide space for similar thought of person similar to you you may get numerous friends and experience and projects marketing another things. Days clubs makes memories and much better life experience. All the clubs have their social media and their office in our college this clubs make our black and white engineering life colourful picture.

The hostels are quite affordable with 11000 of rent annual I know it's quiet low and unbelievable. Our hostels have gym library washing machine parking area garden and much more. The miss is okay and the cost of per diet is 40 rupees you also have canteen in each hostel and the rooms are for two people. There is no registration process online at the day of admission you get your hostel. I got the hostel at the starting so I didn't went for PG but if you want you may get it but the cost is very higher as Chandigarh is expensive.

I applied to various IIT and nits but didn't got qualified for upper branches and got a lower branch in lower nits. I got 91.38 percentile in 2023 and decided to get admission in uiet ,Chandigarh PU as it is attirement college and provide good package. Yes I know that my preparation was not that much good and that's why I was not able to crack IIT this pain will always be alive in my heart. Coming to my college the minimum requirement is 60% in boards and the selection is totally based on JEE mains percentile. The students entry starts from near about 35000 air and till 250000 air. There are six branches in my college which year computer science engineering, it ece eee me bio tech. You can register for entry from Jac Chandigarh website. Coming to my admission experience it was quite good and full satisfied.

At first discussing about examination pattern there are 2 minors and one major in one semester out of which only 1 minus marks are considered which means you can score better in one and skip the other. The minor exam is of 30 marks and major is of 50 marks and internal of 20 marks which is based on your assignments. The questions are quite easy and optional not MCQs. Coming next to faculties the faculties are quite experience the best professor till now I have seen is doctor Jyoti Sharma ma'am. The the reason is because citric her best to make the student understand the calculus and makes practice to make our concept crystal and clear. The worst professor age harmesh kansal , he is professor of mechanical engineering of engineering drawing. The reason behind this hate is that he has the knowledge but never delivers it he is the one who is more strict than required no one likes him. We have design innovation centre dic whose incharge is Mamta mam sister best faculty and she is under top two percent scientist of Asia. The professor I discussed above harmesh kansal was air 1 in aieee in his time. About assignments and practicals no one is serious the final date keeps on posponding from one date to another so you may relax related to this issue. Our class has 45 students therefore faculties and student ratios is good. We have all the equipments for practical knowledge the lapse equipments staffs who help for experiment.
