Likes
- Infrastructure is one of the things I liked. There is a playground and library and indoor games place and a good auditorium and seminar halls.
- The faculty were really good. Each of them used to teach well especially my programming faculty. Because of one sir I really understood the depth of programming. Every year the faculty were really good and friendly.
- We had different clubs by which we had opportunities to interact with seniors and increase social nature. As I was in the pandemic passout batch we had many placement opportunities and each one got atleast 1 job offer.
Dislikes
- While I was in college, it did not organize any fests. They were always like you need to study and all. The fests were very less and few fests were just for the club members which I disliked.
Course Curriculum Overview
As CSE was my interest from the starting that is why I choose that. Faculty sometimes gives real world examples that helped us understand well. There is nothing I want to improve in the course curriculum as everything was fine that time. We used to get equal time to practice the code in computer labs.
Placement Experience
When we were in 2 and 3rd year we saw our seniors doing physical internships. From 3-2 everything starts. For every placement students without backlogs are allowed. As it was pandemic during my placements many companies off campus through online were conducted. There were 10 students who bagged 7 lacs and one boy 11 lakhs Amazon. Literally everyone got atleast one job that time. I got an offer and joined that company after completion of my degree
Fees and Financial Aid
I was a management student my fees was 500000. Bus fees were separate. Every year for books or library we use to pay 15000 and bus fees used to increase every year. The bus fees in the starting was around 20000. The one who got through EAMCET, there fees was around 40000. And there was fine system if we don't get the library books renewed for every 15 days.
Campus Life
The overall experience with my college was amazing, I really miss those days. We used to have annual day every year and technical fests were very less. The library had access to every book. The computer labs were well built. Sports were there any especially boys used to play more than girls.
Admission
As I was a management student, this college was near to home so that is the main reason I choose this college. CMR was also the college which I heard positive things from my surroundings. I got seat in another good college but I got seat in mechanical branch. I refused because the wanted to pursue CSE. The admission process was like this, first my dad spoke to the chairman for final settlement and then followed by submission of documents and fees payment and that way it happened.
Faculty
As told before faculty were really good in teaching, there was not even a single time when we thought that faculty did not provide any guidence. There were a sir in second year for Java who explained wonderfully. He was the one who made in interested in programming. There were few facilities who did partiality and who used to talk by seeing face, I really did not like. During my time even for assignments we used to have exams so that we prepare well for mids, this was the college's intention for puting assignment exams. Mids were fine depends on our preparation and the correction was also fine. Coming to the semester examination as it was JNTUH paper it used to be average to medium
