One of the Best colleges for B.Tech through JEE Mains

The course curriculum is pretty comprehensive. It follows continuous assessment test which means you always have chances to score good even if you preforms below par in any of the previous assessments. It is a credit system. So of you complete a course you earn some credit. At the end of your programme, you need to complete a fixed number of credit to complete your course. There are electives subject offered from 5th semester onwards.

The college invites companies on campus for internship opportinities in the 5th semester. Many big tech like Google, Sprinklr, Goldman Sach, Adobe etc. visit our campus and provide a very good stipend. The stipend generally varies between 80,000 to 1,00,000. They generally visit for software intern for a period of 2 months and then offers PPO based on your performance.

The best part of this college is its placement. The average pakeges goes as high as 3500000. Almost all big Tech companies visit our college and offers huge pakages for freshers.Some of these include Google, Zomato , Zepto , Oracle , Kivi capital , Apple etc. About 97% students gets placed in total. I also got placed. This is the best part of your college life

I am enrolled in Information Technology course at IIIT Allahabad. The fee was charged semester wise. The fee consist of tutuion fee, Hostel room fee (single/double) and many other charges. The fee increases each semester. On an average, for a student belonging to general category, it cost you around 80,000 per semester which means 1,60,000 anually. The tutuion fee is around 60,000 to 80,000 depending on the semester you are currently in. The tution fee is fully waived for SC/ST category students. The other charges is 7000 for double sharing room and around 14000 for single rooms. There are many scholarship provided at IIIT Allahabad. These includes National Scholarship schemes , stat wise scholarship schemes (like UP post meric ) and Merit cum scholarships based on your academic performances.

The overall experience is awesome. The college conducts its 2 major fests. One is Effervescense which is generally conducted during wimter season. This is our cultural fest. The other is techinal fest which is Approksha. There is one central library where you ca borrow books and explore it.

Hostel facility is also good. There are 5 hostels for boys. You are alloted based on the semester in which you are studying. The food quality is same as you will find in any other colleges which is average. The mess fee for each semester is around 24000. You are given single or double rooms based on your choice. Single room costs 14000 per semester while double sharing room cost around 7000. This is included in your semester fee which i discussed earlier.

I choose this college for two reasons mainly. First is College placement and second is its coding culture. It offers one of the best placement which is at par with any Tier-1 college in India. It also gives you good environment for coding. The admission is done through JOSAA councelling on the basis of your JEE MAINs score. There are different range of cut-off rank required for each branch.

The faculty members are quite supportive and understand students' concerns at times. The college follows CCLCAA curricuum which is continuous assessment. There are exams and quizes held continuously. So, it may feels hectic. Overall, it is divided into 3 components namely C1 , C2 and C3. C1 and C2 weightages 30% each while C3 weightages 60% of your course marks.
