Life of sastra

I took btec specialised in Ai and da since it as got deep learning which I found interesting and booming . Curriculum is comparatively new but it matched some requirements of real world applications. I prefer improvement in more of practical exams that would be useful as well as helpful in career development. There would internal every month once for 3 months and I find it comparitively moderate tough.

7 th sem for placement . Wide range of companies include tcs car vipro , reliance , tvs , zoho , Amazon etc Highest package for sastra 2023 batch was 27 lakhs per annum and average is 5 lpa Generally 60-70 percent of opt and get placed . I am planning to persue master oversea on Nlp post graduation.

As I didn't suffice merit requirement, currently persuading in nri quota Tution fee = 5000 usd , merit 70000 per sem ; for btec 4 years 560000. Others - Mess 5000 inr per month Hostel 16000 per year Caution deposit 1000 per year Exam fee 200 per paper College grant scholarship for single candidate who avail first rank of chap funded by third party mnc

The biggest event held in Sastra is kurkusastra , there also techinical events which confucts department based tech events - Daksh . Sastra got vast library with wide range of books . Teaching is with ppt and projectors and is well blend of technology and board , well use of technology. There are vast clubs includes technical as well non technical and conduct regular meets and could be usefull.

Hostel is adequate with clean environment . There are warden assigned per block of a block containing 1500 students . Mess food is veg and is okay and balanced diet . Locality of hostel is outskirts , hour drive for city.

This is the first preference of college in the list which included SRM Chennai and VIT Chennai . I chose this since it had course I wanted as well as it is the best what I could get from my 12 grade. No . I have applied only few and got seat in all I chose this over rest . For merit seat in Cse aids - 95 percent or more of candidate for the student who opt nri 70 percent in 12 th boards.they also take jee mains which varies every year generally 86 percentaile for Cse

Faculty to student ratio is 10:1 very adequate and knowledgable faculty. Except for some all faculties are very helpful and there for any need . Dr Alageshwaran ( os faculty) very interactive and land makes subject feel very easy . Best faculties - dr Shankarsriram , dr Alageshwaran, dr Brinda Faculty I didn't like - Mr rajakumaran I found is method teaching make me hate the subject and felt like as if I went back school There 3 internal exams and one end semester exam . Best 2 out of 3 is taken and it would be considered 50 as internals which would latter summed up to end sem paper for grand total . Failing ratio is probably 10 percent .
