Course Curriculum Overview

5

I am pursuing MBBS course and the course curriculum is accurate to hone the students skills required to become a responsible and caring doctor. We have two internals, one prelims and one final university exam which efficiently tests the knowledge of students

Internships Opportunities

4

As government hospital is attached with our college, we get various medical cases which broaden our medical knowledge. Apart from that, we get stipend in intership which is about 20,000 rs. In internship, you have to work in the hospital and learn the communication.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am studying in 2nd year MBBS course of Government Medical College, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The first year fees was 13610 for OBC,SC AND ST students and I have not till paid 2nd year fees but it's around Rs 16000. If you are from open category, you have to pay 1,27,910 rs and if you are from EWS or EBC then you have to pay 70,760. All these fees are of 1st year MBBS course. There are many scholarships available for the students specially for economically backward students and category students. Some of these are MAHADBT scholarship, Panjabrao Deshmukh scholarship, etc.

Campus Life

4

In the campus, we celebrate many festivals like Ganesh chaturthi, Dahi handi, Navratri, etc. Some college event are Freshers party, Elixir, and many annual events. Here, the hostel students have association which holds sports and extracurricular activities. The library is available for 24×7 and you'll get many reference books.

Hostel Facilities

3

We have a government hostel which is managed by college management. The canteen food is not much good so, we have cooperative mess system for meal. You can also rent a room nearby but it will cost much.

Admission

I have applied for various GMCs of Pune, Mumbai and then Aurangabad. But according my NEET rank, I have been allotted GMC Aurangabad. I chose this because this college is flooded with patient and you'll get better practice.

Faculty

4

The faculties here are at par. They are knowledgeable and share their experiences enthusiasticly but some are very strict and there is constant fear of them. But it's necessary for maintaining discipline. The faculty to student ratio is around 1:20 per subject which is quite good.

I choose the course because I wanted to become doctors from most prestigious college of India. I didn't get seat in AIIMS Delhi so then I choose this college as it is near my home town. The students faculty ratio is 70:12. All the faculty are passed out doctors so they are highly qualified and they teach us in such a way that no need to ask for any doubts. The university conducts exams after every 3 months and we all have to work very hard to pass the exams.
