Totally feeling good with the decision to join this college

What influenced me to choose electronics and communication over other branches is the demand for the subject in coming future. What i learnt till now in this is really very relevant in the industry. The most important thing is that we get to learn the electronics part as well as computer programming also so we are both being prepared for the computer and electronics.

From the 7th semester onwards the students are ellig8ble for the placements Around 150 companies visit the campus for placements some of the major recruiters being microsoft,amazon,adobe,goldman sachs, mercedes,bmw etc Highest package of the 2023 batch was around 54lpa offered by microsoft and the average being 12.59lpa lowest package was around 4lpa More than 85% of students got placed last year

So the fee structure is different for different branches Talking about all computer branches and ece the yearly tuition fee is about 509000(in function from 2nd year to 4th year) Since the 1st year is common for all the branches the tuition fee is around 3,20,000 The branches other than the above mentioned have a course fee of around 4,32,000 per year

The campus life is really awesome There are 2 big fests of the college 1)tech tatva(technical fest) held mostly around the month of october 2) revels(cultural fest) held mostly around the month of march The central library is really well maintained you can get access to journals and research papers from all around the world on any topic you want. Here in campus a lot of sports facilities are offered to the students we have marena sports complex where you can get access to any sports you want ranging from basketball,footlball cricket to esports you can get all there is also a olympic size pool All the cultural clubs here are run by students these clubs include dramatics club music club etc

Hostels are provided for all the year students For the 1st year students its compulsory to take mess and hostels the hostels are alloted in 1st come 1st serve basis for which the link and process of application is provided by the institute itself during the counselling session Hostels are really affordable for about 1,62000 per year i cluding mess, all the hostels are provided with a high speed internet broadband

Beside this i applied for vit vellore in which i was getting mechatronics branch .Reason for me being not joining that institute was the to much of crowd intake at around 20,000 people are givin admission in vit vellore as freshers well in here only 4000 are given admission. The strictness of the hostel is being the another reason At vit the perm time of the hostels is about 7 pm for boys and 6 for girls so its completely difficult to enjoy the campus life While here in manipal for junior students both girls and boys the perm time is 10:30 and for seniors its 11:30 Talking about the admission process for btech you have to give an entrance exam MET then only you will get a seat here. The exam is held twice a year mostly in between march and may and the best of the 2 score is taken into consideration and then the rank is alloted according to which you get a branch Elligibility is that you must have scores atleast 60% in 12th boards and in pcm

Okayyy so talking about the faculty to student ratio,there is a mentorship program in our college where in 10 students are assigned to a particular professor of their respective branch and the students can approach them regarding any doubts they have be it academic or personal, and talking about the teaching faculty they are really support in doubt solving and encourage the students to come with their doubts. The professor of our Analog electronic circuit is the best so far cause he really explains the concepts really well in the classs and try to make it clear to each and every one present. There are particularly 2 exams throughout the semester 1)midsems(30 marks) 2)endsems(50 marks) 3) assignments ( 20 marks, 4 assignments 5 marks each) So basically assignments are take home assignments you can complete it within the time alloted In mid semester exams no one fails its just that how much maximum marks you can score out of 30 and for the endsemester its compulsory to score atleast 18 marks out of 50 otherwise you wont clear the subject. If in case you wont score 18 marks in endsems you can apply for re examination which is generally conducted in the semester breaks, if you manage to score 18 in there you pass the subject otherwise you get a back in that particular subject
