Well, my college is great if the student is willing for studies and is interested in sports too, placements are done easily if you've done your home work enough, for a lazy lousy kid things might get difficult but it's good.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculam is quite great, good for basic knowledge and understanding of all subjects and advance understanding of core subjects too. The exam structure is like one week internals and rest externals.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities are here, if the student is willing and is knowledgeable he/she can easily shell out a good package, and an average student gets placed too, internship are also referred by teachers but no exclusive internships via college is conducted.
College Events
Events are a lot, being a sikh minority bhangra is happening all around the year and there are csi cannon and other events too, sports are very much focused upon too in our college, hence competitions take place a lot too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees is feasible, approx 1.1L per year, excluding travelling costs, the fee structure includes bookbank books and lab fees etc too, a well laid out fee structure in my reference. Ip university colleges usually take this much fees only.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, no scholarship or loan facility as what I know of, loan must be available from. Various banks as education loan but this fees isn't unaffordable for an average earning indian family. Hence, It's good.
Campus Life
Activities are a lot and sports too, a lot of sports events take place we have our various sports teams, main is our tug of war team which has played many matches in other colleges too and always been in top 3,the labs are good and well maintained too with latest equipments.
Hostel Facilities
No, I've not because my place is like 5 minutes from the college, also we don't provide hostels, we have private PG and houses for rent here which are decently priced and are in close vicinity to the college.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are very helpful and caring, me being a part of cdmc( career development and placement cell) as a coordinator when various companies come in for placement drives, I'm in charge and that has led to me being able to communicate to seniors a lot which has helped me in various ways.
Faculty
Faculty of my college is decent enough, if the student is willing some teachers are really great and there are some. Exceptions too but the admin dept has taken care for students as the lousy teachers were not recruited based on practice teaching sessions.
