Remarks
College totally looks upon academics, they will make you work hard for your grades, any means necessary. If you wanna prepare for any furthur studies, college won't help until you are in your final year. Student will have to seek help from teachers off the books.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course cirriculum could have been better as it is all theoratical knowledge in an engineering field. Exam structure consist if 5 to 6 subjects per sem in which exams is of 70 marks and 30 marks internal
Placement Experience
Their are many job and placement opportunities from this college. The dean academic tries his best to bring as many companies as possible but their pay scale isn't very nice as they can't fulfill monthly livelihood.
College Events
Their are hardly many events in this college. Their are only 2 events. 1st is the fresher's party which just a way to display few newcomer. Then 2nd is the annual fest which is something not to look up too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible as its only Rs 87000* per year. ( Fee structure may vary) So the college is quite affordable in regards to near by colleges. Hostel is feasible too, which is only Rs 55000.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes scholarship is awarded to students on the basis of their families' annual incomes and merits. Most of the times the scholarship covers 60% of the fees and above. College waives the fees for the topper of the college for all years. And fee for the SC/ST students is lower than the general category.
Campus Life
If you are going for Computer science then their are proper labs, but if you are going in any other branch then labs aren't good. Their are hardly any sports facilities in the college. Their is only one canteen which doesn't provide much and one stationary which is quite decent.
Hostel Facilities
As the hostel is feasible, the facilities lack quality, rooms look like they haven't been maintained in many years. Western toilet look like hasn't been cleaned in ages, the mess offers nit so good food. And their are no other facility here.
Alumni/Alumna
There is hardly any alumni network as the junior senior interaction is some how frawned upon. Only junior senior interaction happens is inside the hostel. Most of the alumni have swiched fields after their graduation. Some are at a nice post in firms like PayTM, NIIT, IBM, etc.
Faculty
Faculty were better when I joined the college but over the 4 years I have seen the best faculty leave for other colleges. Some faculty are really rude. There are only few faculty who actually know about their subject. Rest just bring notes and dictate them.
