A first year student reviewing Banaras Hindu University

I am pursuing economic hons . According to me it is very fast expanding career option . Alongside I'm also doing a minor in psychology which is a very good combination with economics as they both compliment each other. My course curriculum is a little bit tough for a 1st year student but it might be helpful in the future so overall it is good.

The Banaras Hindu University provides internship for many programs in masters the bachelors don't use really get such internships but there are opportunities you can apply for. Many different companies come here for placements

The fee structure for BA hons is 1150/yr. This is for all the category. This fee includes academic fee of Rs.500 and development fee of Rs.750 . Apart from these there is a quota of paid seat , students have to pay an extra amount of Rs.6000 in addition to their fee structure.

My overall experience of my campus life was very good Banaras Hindu University is a very environment friendly University students here are very helpful and kind. The many different kinds of social clubs as in the mousequee which is a singing club, the talasyaa which is the dance club and many more here we also have club for academics like rhetorica which is the debating club Kathascape which is the book club. We also have many festivals as elixir held in the month of October or November, Kashi Yatra held in the month of January, the FMC first held in the month of September or October are classrooms have been provided with my boards and are colleges have been provided with Wi-Fi connections throughout the campus

Banaras Hindu University is the largest student accommodated University in Asia it has many hostels for different faculties the hostels have been provided with 24/7 electricity Wi-Fi connection clean and common washrooms very nutritious in healthy meal security guard cctv cameras etc. the hostels are very affordable but it is just provided to the students who live very far away and have a very high marks during the entrance test. The number of hostels as compared to the number of student studying is very low so many students have to accommodate in PG outside the campus. There are many PGS available outside the Banaras Hindu University campus in the Lanka area also the Hyderabad gate area which is the very student friendly area

Apart from Banaras Hindu University . I also applied at Delhi University. I couldn't get an admission over there majorly because my marks being very less also due to a mistake in my application form as I put my preferences in a very wrong manner due to lack of knowledge. I also applied at Allahabad University but I choose Banaras Hindu University over Allahabad university because it has a beautiful infrastructure and a nice academic background in economics. The admission process of my college was very simple we just had to fill up form available at the website of University further when we were selected we were notified by our emails and were called for the final admission process 3 days prior to the actual class being started

All the faculties are amazing. They are very helpful good at understanding and solving any kind of problems. The faculty to students ratio is 1:75 . The exams are slightly difficult but overall good for students. The failing students are less than 1%>
