Course Curriculum Overview
As the college lacks the practical part of the field which os the biggest drawback as in industry we need more practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge. They should have made us visit more industry and would have given us that experiment to help us.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships were given to the students who were based in gujarat and had scored more than 85% in 12th boards and also to the students who belonged from OBC. My per semester college fees was Rs.33,000 and hostel fees was Rs.40,000/ year which now might have increased and the mess fees was not included in hostel fee but it was around Rs. 14000 per semester. People from OBC only had to pay around Rs.5,000 per semester but there was no reduction in hostel fees for them also.
Campus Life
The campus life is better as they have all the courses so you can meet a lot of new people. There is a cultural club of the university which a student can be part of. Also they go for many inter-college competitions.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are more like an 2BHK apartment where 6 people live. They have seperate hostel for girls and boys. The rooms are really nice and well furnished for a student. The mess has average food and they serve only veg menu.
Admission
I applied because it was the only college which had my course and was near to my hometown. There is no need of any entrance examination required or any heavy cutoffs for the admission. Student just have to fill the admission form from the website
Faculty
None of the faculty memebers really stayed for a long time. The course is not that difficult. And they conduct total 6 examination in 1 semester. In that 4 examinations are of 20 marks and remaining are of 60 marks.
