The Ayurvedic Experience

The college has a great historical background to ayurveda as it is a part of U. Krishna Muniyal trust. The campus feels a bit shrinked , but is ok at times as it is situated near by Manipal town. It is situated in Industrial area. The placement of the college is excellent because at times for outing and Sundays, You can easily get a bus or Autorickshaw for a movie or trip to Malpe beach

BAMS is a vast subject. Not to be approached like an ordinary degree course. It consists of ancient acharya 's treatment methods and vast amount of shlokas. But when studied with utmost dedication, this subject can me mastered by any normal student

After the 4 and half course for Ayurveda, the college offers internship program for 1 year which helps the students of Muniyal ayurveda gain experience in treatment and inspection of patients. The internship program is free of cost and the stipend is paid according to the work schedule done by the students

There are different events celebrated each year conducted by the student council members. After you join the college you will get to know about dhanwantari pooja, where they do offerings for Lord Dhanwantari by performing a homa in the presence of students. It is at that day they provide stethoscope and other medical related materials. Next comes the Arts and Cultural activities in December which is conducted for about 1-2 weeks. During the beginning of January is the Traditional Day which the students and teachers dresses according to their native culture, like mundu and shirt. Nect we see is the college day at the mid session of the academic year which is celebrated during June - July time period

The fee structure is affordable at Muniyal Ayurveda. Students which availed admission through merit can pay around a minimal amount of 20k to 30k p.a whereas 2 lac p.a for students who got admission through management quota.

For loan purposes, it is observed that students are commonly availing loan from their own banks. Yes the college also allows is to pay the fees as certain installments like each year. They won't ask you guys to pay the whole amount for the year while the beginning of the course/academic year

The college has a big greenish ayurvedic garden in which it helps to study the names of ayurvedic plants, The college also provides equipments for extra curricular activities like football, Volleyball ,Cricket etc. Matches and tournaments also also held frequently. The lab and library are very much helpful for the students of Muniyal Ayurveda. They provide equipments for practice and helps in applying our practical knowledge

The college offers hostel facility for 1st year students mainly. As it is a common phenomenon that male students usually vacate the hostel after completion of first year. They tend to move in to rented homes. The college provides free water supply and electricity to the hostel. The rooms are spacious and well ventilated.

The senior students here at the college are the guiders for the junior batch. They helps in nurturing the growing doctors. They provide all kind of support , whether in ways of academic of extra curricular activities. They are like our brothers and sisters to each other. They come for help and give guidance to one another.

The college consists of both Malayali teachers and Kannadiga faculty. They treat you like their own family and tries to give their maximum effort for our improvement in studies. Overall the management supports in the nurturing of the budding student in a very good manner
