Course Curriculum Overview
So tiu trains it's students with lectures, notes, pdfs, regular lab practices and internships from the 3rd year itself... And the gaps between the exams are between 1½ to 2months... They'll provide you with the needed books, suggest you regarding it and you can also avail it from the library
Internships Opportunities
Tiu is linked with many big companies like mother dairy, google, Microsoft, and a lot more... The internships for my course bsc. Biotechnology starts from the 3rd year and the companies come and interviews us on campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
So the course fee for the degree I opted for is a total of ?320000 for a total of 4 years. During admission it took ?50000 in which ? ?10000 was for the admission fee and the rest ?40000 for 1st semester fee. For the rest of the 5 semesters it's ?40000 each... And for bag and uniform it will take ?5000 after admission...
Campus Life
There are a lot of fests and clubs in tiu like vivatsa(technixal club), sahotsava(cultural club) and the sports club in them there are a lot more divisions like fun club, dance clubs, singing clubs, journal clubs, photography club, designing clubs, robotics club, gaming club, etc. Management by the student leads
Admission
I applied to amity, adamas, brainware, jis, niotia, etc. but honestly as a renounced college they constantly asked me to join them and some basically forced me to apply for it but techno was always my first preference after iem(i didn't not choose it for the very strict environment and schedule) as tiu is the first private college in west Bengal and also well renounced and it didn't contacted me even once of it's own to join them or flex and show off their university and all thats the thing really attracted me. And it has much more higher chances for better placements than the rest
Faculty
The faculty members are really nice... The are strict as well as fun to be around... The best one for me is rupa ma'am and atanu sir very experienced with life and really inspiring... There are a 1 and 2 faculty members whose classes feel a little boring else they are good. And tiu conducts moderate to tough exam papers for it might be a little challenging for new comers. The chemistry papers are quite tough and almost 50% of the students failed to clear it this year.. There are a total of 4 examinations for our course 1) 1st internal exam (30marks) 2) 2nd internal exam (30marks) 3) practical exams 4) final end semester exam
