All about pharmacy department in PGIMS Rohtak

The course of B.Pharmacy is a good course as it provides the students with multiple future options like drug inspector government pharmacist and many more. Student also has option for further studies like M.Pharmacy PhD from many best universities all over the world. Students are ensure with a bright future in this course.

Talking about the fees of our university it is most affordable university among the government universities in Haryana which avails the course of Pharmacy. Those who cannot afford expensive universities and wants to do the course can get their admission done in this university. It is really affordable and best for the families with weak financial conditions. Fees is different for every year. There is no difference in fees for the students belonging to other categories like SC ST or any other category, it is same for all, only the students belonging to TFW are given a wavier of Rs.2000. Talking about the amount to be paid as fees is as follows: For 1st year it is Rs.9385/- For 2nd year it is Rs.8115/- For 3rd year it is Rs.8500/- For 4th year it is Rs.8625

Experience of campus is nice. There are some functions which are conducted every year in university where students participate and enjoy. University has a common library and college of pharmacy also has a separate library for the students of the college where they are provided with proper sitting facility to study.Students can also get books issued from the library. Sports and extracurrricular activities are also organised in the campus for students.

Hostel facility for the students of pharmacy is not that good. Hostel is not renewed it is old built. There are 3 to 4 students in a room, rooms are provided with cooler facility. No doubt food quality is good meals are not so expensive but the food quality is good. But unfortunately as hostel is not renewed it is closed for those which will take admission in this course considering the safety of the students. Girls are also not provided with hostel facility they have to stay in the PGs nearby.

An entrance test is conducted to get admssioned in the course of B.Pharmacy on the basis of your rank you are alloted the college on the basis of preferences filled by the students. Higher the rank more the chances of getting admission in the university filled by the student on the basis of preference. I got my admission confirmed in CBLU Bhiwani and after that in GJU Hisar. I found this college better from others as it was near to my hometown, fees was affordable,faculty is nice and many other things like facilities near the college which are necessary for a student like stationary.

College has hired good faculty with best education qualifications for every subject to be taught during the course. Teachers are suppportive and friendly with students. Teachers are assigned particular subjects which they are expert at. Talking about exams two sessional exams are conducted in every semester and final exams are conducted semester wise. Exams are conducted in the university campus in different departments.
