Reality of an Average private college in india

B.tech is a well reputed course all over India, I wanted to explore more in computer science an AI so I chose this course curriculam is a bit outdated but it give knowledge and purpose to solve problem it doent give the lated information present but it gives the basics of it areas of improvements are to just update the curriculam every 2 years Update the books update the major subjects so that students doesnt have to study unwanted subjects choice in subjects should be flexible add more subjects such as psychology , buisness studies etc the difficulty level of exams is not that much even an average student can score well if he has only studied for half a month.

They give partner with third party companis to offer them to work without any stipend sometimes there are good opportunites as well such as naukri. com quizes. They are flexible to student working but they do not provde the best opportunity for internships.

>FEE STRUCTURE Yearly fee for B.tech in Computer Science and technology is = Rs.55000 Regestration fees for getting a seat in the college is Rs.4600 which includes the payment of books throughout the course +access to library throughout the course+ the caution money + the admission fees Uniform fee is Rs.2500 There is no Lab Fee Exam form filling fee is Rs.2000 which increases by Rs. every year >SCHOLARSHIPS 1. There are scolarships for SC,ST and OBC students: For SC,ST 40 % scholarship For OBC 20% scholarship 2. Another scolarship on the basis of JEE and 12th class percentage: For JEE main scores there is 50 to 60 % scholarship For Students scoring min 80% in 12th there is 50percent scolarship thorughout the course 3. Scholarship on the basis of semester exams For students who scored more than 80 percent in semsester exams there is 50% scholarship on next semester fee

There are no annual festivels in campus. there is only daniya day in college every year campus is large enough but the facalities in it are very poor sports curriculam is not for b.tech students so never got an opportunity to perform Books are limited and less useful wifi doesnt work properly and it is very slow students are not allowed to touch computers in the lab

I applied for Lovely Proffesional University in punjab I did not choose that college because of the distance and the hostel fees It is less affordable and demands too much hostel fee and my parents colud not afford that amount of money I chose this college because its very very close to home it is too affordable and flexible in the means of attendence I can do more things rather than attending college everyday Students can do full time jobs and also study in college there is no boundation i chose Computer science over all other bracnhes in my college because it has more faculty in it and computer science is the unversal branch that is in trend for the las t 15 years

Faculty to student ratio is 1 : 60, dedicated head of departments are there and 1 branch only have 2-3 teacher which do all the teaching part lap part practicals part. Faculty is approachable but with the limited resources they can give limited help. Head of civil engineering and head of electrical engineering department teachers are very friendly and supportive. Head of Computer science is very rude, strict and straight forward to students and he does not want to listen to the students. Course curriculam is a bit outdated they are still teaching us what they used to tach the batch of 20 17 , technology is growing day by day but the college is stuck with the ol curriculam. There are 3 exams conducted in a smester 1. practical exams 2. mid semester exams 3. end semester exams practical exams are easy to clear mid sems are a bit easier then end sem and end sem is also easier to clear.

i didnt face any group discussion i only had an personal interview with the vice principal of the college she discussed the opportunities they provide which was all not that specific and true and admission process is very very easy in college no need to prepare for anything
