ICFAI university in focus: a comprehensive review on academic excellence and student experience

One of the key aspects why i choose the course was it's flexibility to explore across subjects across disciplines. For instance; the inclusion of electives allowed me to explore feilds like data science, artificial intelligence, philosophy and economics alongside my core subjects. This variety gave me the opportunity to develop a well rounded skill set and tailor my education to my personal intrests. Industry-alined content: the program promised to intergarte contemprory trends and business which seemed like a great way to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving job market. The presence of induatry relevant case studies also appealed to me, as they would help bridge theory and practise. The curriculum highlighted the scope for reasearch and that was the key motivator for me, whether through final year projects or faculty led research groups, I wanted a program that supported discovery in an academic context. I would rate it an overall 3.5 out of 5 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. While it provided a solid academic foundation and introduced students to essential concepts, there were gaos in real world applications, modernity, if disscused would significantly elevate the programs effectiveness

ICFAI offers internships to build hand-on experience and help stydents gain practical solutions. Internships makes students aware if the corporate work culture and present themselves formally in the work space, understand business ettequets and put their knowledge to practise. It is mandatory for students to complete an internship by the end of 2nd year. An SIP- STUDENT INTERNSHIP PROGRAM is designed to help student gain hands-on-experience. Hundreds of companies visit the campus and offer intenship to the merit students. Multinational companies, startup, real estate firm, financial management companies, banks and other dream companies of many students recruit them and offer an extensive internship program. A detailed report have to be submitted and presneted in the college after the end of SIP.

The placement provided by the college for UG students is good. The average package is around 8LPA. Students are exposed to internships in 2nd year after the end of 4th semester. These on-site interviews provide practical exposure and real-world aolutions to complex problems. They gain experience and becomes industry ready. Companies like TCS, mahindra& mahindra, accenture, amazon, delhivery, zomanto and many other companies. The highest package is 23lpa, and the avergae package is 8lpa. The college provides 100% placements for all those who applied after the ug program and it also has an MBA program for those interested in pursuing higher studies. I would like to get an MBA degree an develop my startup idea in the college incubation center with the support of my faculty.

The yearly fee for BBA(3- years programe )in ICFAI business school, Hyderabad is 250000, i.e; 125000 per semester. If you are opting to stay in hostel, it would cost around 120000, which is 60000 per semester. The college do not provide scholarship based on caste reservations however, IFHE offers a wide range of scholarship for academic performance and past academic records(12th grade). Up to 10% of the batch is awarded scholarships based on their performance in each semester. The scholarship amount is based on CGPA. 1. 9.00 CGPA or more: 30% of the semester fees 2. 8.50 CGPA or more but less than 9.00 CGPA: 22% of the semester fees 3. Less than 8.50 CGPA: 15% of the semester fees . To continue receiving the scholarship, students must maintain a minimum 6.0 GPA in each semester. Students are provided merit scholarship based on past academic records. If the CGPA IS >90, then the total scholarship is 126000, that is 21000 per semester. If you manage to maintain your CGPA above 8 per semester, you can easily avail a minimum scholarship of 1,20,000 and a maximum scholarship of 252000 for all the 6 semesters. Additionally if your past academic record if great, then you can also avail a scholarship of maximum 120000. In conclusion, if your past academic record is great and you manage to get more than 8 CGPA every semester, you can save a huge amount of money. You would only pay 8-9 lakhs if you manage to be among the top notch students in contrary to 12-13 lakhs per 3 years. NOTE: all the above fee structure is for BBA in IFHE 3 years program and not for hons degree.

The campus life is amazing. The diversity of students provide a great learning experience and creates a wide network for students which is very important for every management students. The annual fests like the cultural fest, tech summit, startup ideation program, workshop by aluminis and other expects from industry are conducting every now and then. Stress relief activities sports, fun torurnments, cultural events, club activities are conducted. The college clubs are engaging and students are very excited to be a part of them.... The library, NJ yashaswi memorial library is the biggest. The college has 3 libraries and it also has a reading room which ensure rhat the studenta can held discussion and debates. The faculty are the best-in-the industry and are alwaysss ahead to help students. The smart learning, theatre classrooms, learning aids, student portal helps learning convenient. Sports tornaments, inter college sports, i door stadium, large cricket and football ground ,well maintained ecupiment is provided along with coach for different sports are provides to help students solve their soubts and remaim fit. Large, clear swimming pools ensure that students are able to enjoy their swimming schedules. The clubs of IBS are everyone's favourite and every year the recruitment of new people adda life and meaning to them. They are very engaging and maje students involved.

The hostels are limited and accomdation is provided on forst come first serve basis. Students are provided with a bed, study table. There are different kinds of rooms, they include single sharing, double sharing and triple sharing rooms. In some hostels, there are attached washrooms and in others there are common toilets. The toilets are neat and clean. Maintainace happens twice a week and all our needs are addresed. There are ac and non-ac rooms. There are 2 mess and many canteen around the campus. The menu in breakfast lunch dinner and snacks catera to both north indian and south indian cusines. Tge quality of food is not compromised and they try to satisfy everyone taste and preferences. The overall food is great. Warden takes care of everyone. There is laundry facilty at the hsotel, beauty parlour and cafes.The entry time of hostel is 9pm, which means that everyone should enter hostel gate within 9pm and could go to their respective hostel room by 11pm. There are pg's available of boys outside the campus in a more affordable price. For UG it is not mandatory to stay in hostel but for mba it is madatory to stay in hostel.

I choose this college over other colleges because of the diverse course curriculum. It offers a perfect blend of both technological and managerial course as core subjects alongside subject of intrest like philosophy etc. the electives it offers are comprehensive and makes studenta industry ready in this intensively competitive job market. It allows diverse course like BBA along with AI, DS, ML etc which is the need of th hour to have demand in the industry. I applied to other colleges like woxen university, alliance university benguluru and mahindra university, Hyderabad. I choose ICFAI over the others ia beacuse i found a perfect balance in the fee structure and the course offered. The rejected the other colleges i applied because the fee was too high for the quality of education they are offering. I got selected to all the colleges i applied to but i rejected them and joined ICFAI. ICFAI admission process involves an personal interview for BBA program. The eligibility to appear for the interview is clearing 12th class with over 50% of the marks in english medium.

The faculty in IBS are well versed and active in supporting the students. The marking scheme is just and fair. Faculty-to-student ratiois also great. The number of faculty oer semester is satisfactory. The faculty in management, marketing, HR, digitak skills, Finance are subject experts in their respective domains. The mentorship program addresses individual needs and provide a moral, academical support and promotes a intellectual learning environment. The iccubation center caters to the diverse entrepreneural idea and innovations of students and helps them develop into promising startup, securing funding and helping them with staffing. The evaluation pattern allows students to stick on to their academic curriculum and allows for minimum diversions. The internal evaluation stands for around 10 marks per semester which is class room participation and the rest are for non- class participation , i.e; internal exams, mid term and end semester examinations. Teaching-learning-aid is provided to make sure every student retains proper information taught in class and additionally gives them a foundational support for their apptitude and screening process for future accomplishments. The diverse course options like BBA HONS, BBA-AI, BBA-DS, BBA-DSAI makes studenta industry ready and develps their proffesional profile.

For BBA program, everyone has to undergo a personal interview which is a comprehensive round for about 20 minutes. They test the overall apptitude and academic excellence of students. I thoroughly went through all the intermediate books and went through current affairs and general knowledge.
