- The infrastructure of the college is decent not as per the hype.
- The classrooms are quite big and there are enough space
- Hostel mess foods are affordable and quite ok in taste..
Dislikes
- I didn't like the placement things. Even the average package is so less
- The hostel fees are so much as per the accomodation.
- Facilities are not provided in college as it's far from the main city so salons, medical stores, grocery store should be provided atleast.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum, a group of courses offered in a particular field of study in alliance university. Curriculum is a set of courses that comprise a given area or specialty of study.. since I was offered information technology although I wanted to choose computer science but no seats were left I had to go for information technology. But at the end what they teach is same for information technology and computer science students in first year..for the placement and all I wish to get good companies in college. For exam yeah recently I wrote my mid semester exams so as per the difficulty level the given time was enough.
Placement Experience
See the placement structure of this college is not up to the mark..This college is mainly good for law and for engineering i don't think it's good in terms of placement. As far as I heard people usually look for off campus. Since some of them were good enough in the terms which a company asks they get job else they go for referrals and business.
Fees and Financial Aid
In alliance university the fees for btech information technology is generally 300000 per annum but there are options to opt in less fee using various scholarships..Yeah this university provides scholarships. Scholarship Categories • Merit-based Scholarships • Category-based Scholarships • Alumni Scholarships • Employee Scholarships If the candidate is having more then 95% in Xth and XIIth they get waiver of 50% And so on
Campus Life
Overall campus life is good..events are regularly organised for the enthusiasm and facilities are nice.. greenary is full here..for day scholars transportation facilities are there. For clubs a lot of clubs options are there.. primary and secondary..for primary clubs it is related to the course we study and it's compulsory to take and secondary is fun and social services related clubs which depends on us.
Admission
My reason for choosing this college was that my family..Since for me I applied for different colleges like UPES Dehradun, DY Patil Navi Mumbai, BML Munjal University Kapriwas but at last my family told me to go to Bangalore and no options were left at that time I had only two options sapthagiri college and alliance university so I ended up with Alliance university. For addmission process I give ausat which is alliance university's entrance test and then I gave interview..
Faculty
There are continuous class tests and all taken. As for the mid semester exams the rules were strict. The mid semester exams are conducted of 40 marks for btech information technology which is further converted in 10 marks..in total final semester is of 50 marks and rest 50 marks are of DSA.(During semester assessment). In DSA a student should atleast get 25 out of 50 to sit in final semester.. Backlogs: If a student didn't pass the exams for them ur us compulsory to write backlogs along with that they should prepare for there ongoing or coming semester..
