- College facilities, like bus facility, nice playground to play volley ball. A large library which provides free access to all books for free of cost. Teachers and faculty are very supportive. The training given for the placement race is good.
Dislikes
- Less faculty caring about students, Teachers wont guide you to provide knowledge
Course Curriculum Overview
The good part of the curriculum is the Project work period which is the best part which fueled me to drive towards my Automotive Engineer dream. It boost my desire about the bikes and cars and unleashed my passion towards the field. The exams timings are decided by government and they are bit tough when I was there. There would be 4 sets of papers and each paper would have some level of difficulty.
Placement Experience
The eligibility for the placements will include - no standing arrears or for some companies it would allow 1 arrear. The highest packages is 4.5LPA A and the average package would be around 2.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is less unfortunately probably around 100 members over all (5%). My plans after degree is to choose the career in Automobile domain
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fee wil be 35000 for General (OC) category students. Bus fee will be decided based on the travel distance. And my friends who belong to SC ST candidates will have a fee of 30000 per year and would be provided by the State government for free. I got 35000 full fee from the Government 10000 rs for hostel reimbursement
Campus Life
The college will focus very less in the events. But the Anniversary and Tech fest are comparitively good but not best. The library facilities are very good if you want to study. All the references books followed by the faculty are available. Every class room have CC cameras, Projectors etc but projectors are widely used for teaching rather than board which is a drawback You can have good sports life in this college since it have a large basket ball ground, Table tennis etc games Students will be involved in runnings clubs but only during the Technical fests.
Admission
I did apply to KITS, VVIT and KHIT colleges on top 3 but unfortunately the other colleges have reservation candidates and I couldn't make it. Finally joined in KHIT Admission process is simple. You need to submit the certificates like +2 and SSC before you join, You have to pay around 7000 as admisiion fee. You need to get the campus from Counselling or you have to pay the money to join. You can join either through EAMCET or ECET. It's a bit tough if you have joined through ECET since the seats would be very limited.
Faculty
Faculty are friendly and some are not. Depends on the student behaviour or regularity of the student. I liked Meena mam very well. She teaches the subject very well and she's knowledgeable and friendly. Ramachandra Sir who used to teach Java is different kinda vibe, he used to provide opportunity to students to learn the subject in a different prospective I didnt like Brahmaiah, he used to tell same topics daily. There would be 4 mid exams and 2 sem exams for a year. The mid exams are very easy but the semister exams were difficult
