Course Curriculum Overview

I would suggest to choose computer science engineering because it has a higher scope off getting jobs compared to other courses .By finishing this course you would be able to get selected in campus interview.

Internships Opportunities

The companies offered in Psg are seamless communications, marco techno craft etc. The roles given are asked to assist the companies daily basis expenses.They give you a assignment and not easy to accomplish it.

Placement Experience

From 7 th sem you would be elligible for campus placements.Campus placements would require a high profile to get placed and informative.They look for overall gpa.Companies you would be placed are vipro,seamless communication.

Fees and Financial Aid

In PSG IAS average course per year fees would be around 3.5 lakhs. It would depend on ur 12 board exam cut off.If u get above 95% you would be getting a scholarship which would cover all your expenses including tution and hostell accomodation fees.Normal Hostell fees would be around 1,35,000

Campus Life

If your a good sports player Psg is not a good collage to choose they dont give importance for spors and even if they look after sports they want it for reputation.Club events are not much helf in this collage

Hostel Facilities

Psg accomadation and food are not bad.They do provide a good meal in hostel.The rooms would be cleaned whenever u need .They provide non veg weekly thrice.The locality is peelamedu.They also provide north indian food.

Admission

I got a admission in banglore jain engineering campus.But i declined the offer and got into psg.Psg IAS is located in coimbatore living cost is cheap compared to other metro cities.Students from varios place would come to study here

Faculty

In PSG IAS Engineering course students ratio would be around almost 200.Not all faculty members are friendly in this collage .They may fail you if disrespect,disbehave inside the class or talk back against the faculty.

Interview Experience

PSG entrance would be tough to enter.Itaint easy as you think. You should prepare hard for these exams.The questions are fromare from your board syllabus prepare well and not i.It wouldn't be tough or easy

IIT Madras BS (Data Science): Flexible, Rigorous, and Worth It if You Stay Consistent

Placement Experience:

The IIT Madras BS program offers placement support through the online placement portal and the Industry Interaction Cell (IIC). Still, it’s not wise to treat it like a guaranteed “campus placement for everyone” because eligibility and company criteria matter a lot. Eligibility is usually after reaching the required level (commonly after at least one Diploma stage and meeting IIC/portal requirements), so it’s not from the early Foundation stage. Different reports mention large recruiter participation through the portal,one report mentions over 220 companies and strong overall participation, but exact offers made changes every cycle. So it’s best to write that companies visit through the IITM online placement portal and hiring depends on role requirements and student profiles. Recent reports commonly quote a highest package around ?25 LPA and an average around ?10 LPA for on-campus offers for this program. Roles typically align with software/data tracks like analyst, data engineer, ML/analytics roles, and related tech profiles, depending on skills and projects. IIT Madras is magnificent!!

Placement Experience:

Apollo Hospital to Greens and many medical and hospital which are engaged in hospitals or building technology that supports it. Our course is still not that old and in the batches that have passed out so far, I think the average stands at some 10 lakhs or so.

IITM BS DEGREE - a game changer in distant education

Placement Experience:

After the sixth test students become eligible for the campus placements, there are many companies. Many high-level companies who visit the campus like the Microsoft, Google, Adobe, and TCS Infosys and many more the number of marriage, I can tell you the ratio, one students get approximately 8-9 offers. The highest package was approximately 1.0 2CR.

Placement Experience:

BS in data science students have completed their 1st batch and got highest placement of 23 lacs and average of 8 lacs . So placement of electronic system will also revolve around this figure. After 3rd year students are eligible for placements. Most of the Bengaluru based tech company visited for this degree holders. I have a plan to go for higher studies abroad after completing this degree.

Everyone got placement somewhere or in campus in different paths . For a good placement like 70 la.khs to 1 crore you need to study from 1st year . Study means do your homework time to time and follow the faculty. Highest package 7 crore Average package 25 lakhs Minimum package 10 lakhs Companies like - meta, Amazon , Google ,tata all big , medium , and small companies arrived because it's iit madras ( nirf -1 ) Students become eligible for placement in 4th year. My plan is for startup.

Experience in IITM online BS Degree

Placement Experience:

Placements are good, as the degree is completely online, but it is nowhere mentioned in the certificate, IIT helps one to get good package in Data Science fields, maybe the college does not provide placemnts, but students have gotten in big companies through off-campus placements

It's online yes, it's called the first copy IITians

Placement Experience:

Placement statistics are low for now as the course is new but the highest package as far as I know was 25 lpa and avg package is around 8-9 lpa. It's not really about the package but the opportunities IIT Madras opens for you. My plan is to get a master's degree in the same field and continue from there.
