All about DPG.

I chose this course because of my family background and due to my lack of interest in other fields.I find accounts and economics way more interesting which attracts me. The curriculum prepares you for real world dealings and understanding the problems of an organisation. The area of improvement which i suggest is more options in Value added cource and AEC subject. The exams are held in the mid of every semester and at the end of the semesters which is the semester exams.The difficulty level of exams are comparatively higher.The faculty keeps on telling us that the exams are hard and they frequently make us understand the way of attempting the questions and how to score good marks. The internal marks are given on the basis of assignments you give,your performance in sessional exams and your attendence.

Fees for B.Com course is 45000 per year and you get a discount of 8000 if you have scored above 80% in 12th and a dicount of 10000 if you scored 90% and the students who scored above 70% get a discount of 6000. During the time of admission i paid a fees of 18500+1200.This 1200 includes the cost of form and library(500).The library amount is refundable. The next fees is due for november which is 22500. The discount which you get will be distributed in 2 equal halfs and you will get its benifit in first year and second year.

The first day was an orientation day and we were taken to an old age home and ngo through our college bus and we interacted with abandoned people and old people who were taken care off in that ngo. Ther was a freshers party organised by radio mirchi which was way more fun and another freshers was conducted by our college. The library provides you books related to all the cources and you get all the required books in library and the process of getting book issued is very easy.The time period is of around 20 days and then you need yo get the book reissued. There are several inter college matches held for cricket,chess and other sports but the frequency is less,the main sports is don in January in th sports weeks. There are many cultural groups and the best thins is anti ragging or rahhing free campus.The seniors are very friendly .

I chose this college insted of other colleges because of its affordable fees,its campus and its location . I didnt apply for many other colleges,i applied for BHU in banaras and delhi university. I got selected in BHU and i missed the chance of getting selected in du because i was late in applying for the preference list and the application method for du was a little complicated.I considered getting admission in this college over BHU is because of its location and because i am from UP i wanted to go to other state .

There is a mentor provided for every 20 student who takes care of all the problems. The faculty which i liked the most from commerce department are soumya mam and latasha mam,they are really helpful and cooperative and their way of teaching is great . There is not a single faculty whom you might no like,all of them are good. There is a sessional exam in november 2024 and the semester exams will be held in december. The difficulty is high,but can be cracked if you know the pattern which you will be taught here.
