Likes

Education is so good .... the food in canteens is affordable.
Canteen food is so good and girls hostel is secure
Girls hostel food is so good and clean restrooms also

Dislikes

The parking area is so disgusting and also no space for most of the vehicles
Campus is so small and conjugated also...
Drinking water is not clean and they are not cleaning the water tank

Course Curriculum Overview

The exam for cla 1 and 2 are at 2 pm to 3 30 pm . The labs are so good for my course and the equipment are so advanced also the teachers are well trained and experienced teachers Most of my teachers are a phd holder in Anna university, chennai. My course have various opportunities and innovative works but according to salary its very low at beginning in india But in foreign countries the salary is far better

Internships Opportunities

Internships are pretty well i guess but as i am a 1st year student i can't tell you for sure about the internships right now but by seniors they say that the internships are also good enough. And also the internships are very usefull

Placement Experience

The teaching and education is so good but the placement is the worst 2 in 10 will get placed Remaining will be jobless or will be sent to call centre There are so much scams in srm ramapuram For example : they will be placed in IT company but after college they are sent to call centre So much placement scams ah there The reason is , for placements we got to ktr campus There only ktr students will be selected maximum If 10 ppl were selected in an interview, in that 9 will be ktr and 1 will be from ramapuram Just for a name sake they select srm ramapuram students

College: SRM university, ramapuram, chennai Course : B tech Biotechnology (4 yr ) Tution fee : 1,75,000 per year Placement trainings class (CDC) : 25,000 Registration fee : 10,000 Scholarships will be provided if you get rank below 10k in srmjeee exam Semester exam fee varies each time For now , 300 rs per paper

Campus Life

More events will be conducted like onam , pongal , navarathri etc..... events are so good and the members of college also participate active .. Every clubs and events are rum only but the students Sports are so good

Admission

I applied for vit vellore and srm university Finally after written srmjeee i got admission in srm university ramapuram The reason i was unable to join vit vellore is because my rank in viteee exam was very low So i can't able to get admission there But in srmjeee exam i got 12k rank and got admission is srm university Chennai ramapuram

Faculty

In a class there will be 60 students but due to management seats my class contains 65 students and even other class also has more than 60+ students. The faculty are so good.. they treat the students in a good way , also they are ready to help us in projects and internships. There are 2 exams before semester exam Cla 1 : unit 1 and 2 ( syllabus) Cla 2 : unit 3,4,5 ( syllabus)

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

4 years that changed my life

I was a Covid graduate so most exams were not being held the way they are normally done among so I appeared for all the college exams as they were held online.
