My College, My Choice

The curriculum is like good.They teach us all relevant things but Sometimes like they teach subjects which are not related to our domain which is computer science. For example we were having subjects like electrical and mechanical in first year which were of no use for us like software engineers. The timing of internal and external exams is very perfect and upto the mark.

Third year and fourth year students get internship opportunities in my college. Many Companies like Mastercard, Welspun, Investis Digital, Schneider electric etc provide good internship facilities to students every year. The stipend is like 15-20k for students having zero experience also and they do work for only 2-4 hours daily. They give proper task and projects which is further analysed and then they are paid.

From seventh semester i.e. beginning of fourth year, students get eligible for sitting in campus placement sessions and interviews. More than 300 companies visit our college throughout the year for campus placements and around 80-85 % of all branch students get placed every year. Computer science students get average package of 7 to 8 LPA and highest 22-25 LPA in campus placements. I am also expecting a very good campus placement for myself.

All categories students in my college have to pay same fees yearly which is approx. 10000 per year to be precise its 9,480 for first year students and 9,440 per year for next three years. This fees is not tuition fees, it is the combination of university development fund, faculty development fund, library fees, examination fees, computer laboratory fees etc etc. As M.S. University is Goverment University so You don't have to pay anything as tuition fees you have got admission in this college by merit from the marks of state level entrance exam. Students get scholarship of 10k to 20k for students of categories like SC and ST. The name of scholarships are MYSY and Digital Gujarat Scholarship.

Many clubs and events run in my college like Footprints, Paramarsh, Prerna, and Junoon and there are many active clubs like Fuels Network, MSU vision 2020, Robotics and EV club, Finance club, Chess Club, Coding Clubs etc etc They are also two major ACTIVE units NCC and NSS in my college. All these clubs and events are run by students only of all academic years but they get timely guidance and support from respective faculties.

We are getting proper bed, cupboard and study table in our room. The water is coming 24/7 and the warden are really strict and supportive at the same time.They took good care of the security of all hostel girls. We are having mess in our hostel and they make good hyegnic food. The registration process for hostel is quite simple, you have to apply on the official Website of MSU Halls of Residence and then you have to go for documents verification and done you will be alloted room withing few days and after paying hostel fees you can immediately start living there. It's quite affordable as the fees of my hostel is only 7000 per year and 3000 is refundable deposit which you will get back when you will leave the hostel.

I applied for many colleges during counseling like L.D. College of Engineering, Ahmedabad, Birla Vishwakarma Mahavidyalaya of Engineering, Vishwakarma Mahavidyalaya Chandkheda , M.S. University etc etc and I finally got admission in Faculty of technology and Engineering The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and I am really happy and satisfied after getting this college. I am learning lots of extra skills here and have made good friends also. The atmosphere of this college is nice. I don't know what would have went wrong in other colleges but I know I can't get any better.college than this. I have got this college on the basis of merit rank which is calculated on the basis of class 12th marks and gujarat state level entrance exam marks. The cut off of this college is high and still I have got this purely on the basis of merit. The other colleges I have opted were just a plan B . My ultimate goal was to take admission here only and I am grateful to God for that. The admission process of this College is through acpc counselling which is conducted after gujarat state level entrance exam whose name is GUJCET. Most of seats are filled by this entrance exam only . Few seats are reserved for out state candidate like Jammu & Kashmir, Bihar, Jharkhand etc

The faculties is really very nice. They are very supportive and provide lots of guidance throughout the year. They are very regular and also teach well. They provide pdfs and ppts regularly and maths and physics teacher provide good hand written notes as well.
