Course Curriculum Overview
I decided to choose the computer science assignment it is really in demand and I personally like it as well The curriculum trains you well to adapt with the industry requirements The course is perfect , no room for improvement from my opinion Difficulty level of course would be medium - hard
Internships Opportunities
Not much visited but students got interships from off campus Students bagged internships in Compaies like Google Amazon microsoft , hodman sachs , Cisco , atlassian etc But very few students got it more like 10 to 20 students from 1000+ students
Placement Experience
Fro 6 semester you can apply for internships and placements TCS , Accenture, hexaware , ncr voyix , nucleus softwares , etc And no of offers made in total were appr 2000+ for over 2000 students Percentage of students getting placed would be 80 percentage I would like to get the job and build my career in that
Fees and Financial Aid
- Per year fees I paid was rs 180300 - Tution fees is approx 120000 - Rest extracurricular and training fees approx 60000 - No scholarship from college but u can apply for UP scholarship programmes. - current fees per year for CS would be 200000 per year apprx
Campus Life
Campus Life is not that good , too much restrictions Very strict rules in campus Fines are applied on students for minor activities No sports There are certain clubs which you can join but not very much active Facilities and technology provided are quite okay You can get your books issued from library easily
Admission
I chose PSIT kanpur as it is the best private college in kanpur City and is in my hometown as well No I got selected in other colleges as well but I chose PSIT over them Admission process is very smooth u can either get it from uptu counselling or direct admission
Faculty
Faculties are very skilled and supportive Even in the breaks you can discuss your issues with them There are enough faculties in the college for every branch and stream Apprx 1 faculty per 60 students There are 2 class test every semester and 1 pre University test in the college
