A fresher's view of his college

The course is very well relevant. One of the course is language, which prepares students for interviews, listening skills, writing skills, reading skills, discussions , letters, emails and many more and it helps a lot to the students in learning english. One of the other course is humanities and management which include constitution, and the faculty is very well. Other courses are engineering physics ( electricity and modern physics ), engineering maths , computer sciences . Classes happen from monday to friday , 9 am to 12noon. On monday tuesday and Wednesday there are mechanical workshop, english language lab and modern physics lab consecutively. The course is overall very well and we are also getting real world experiences in laboratories and group discussions .

Internship opportunity is good but I don't have enough knowledge. many of the seniord have told that they done some intership by themsey. One of the 4th year senior has done internship in infosys. But all fo them have done it themselves . I don't know this is correct or not. I just heard all these.

Placement here is not that good. But companies come here and offers placement . Seniors are getting placement right now. I met one of the senior and he said one of his friend get 8lpa offer . I don't have enough idea about placement but last year highest package was of 32.5 lpa and in 2022 highest was 1.3 crore off campus.

The above mentioned fees is same for all branches in 4 year btech degree. * For dual degree students ( btech + mtech ) First sem fees is same as btech students and fees from 2nd sem to 10th sem is also same as btech students.

Since i have come here , 3 functions have happened, one is fusion fest, then ganesh chaturthi and then fresher's party . And solasta fest happens in January. The fests and parties here are so enthusiastic, students participates in singing , dancing , standup comedy and many more . There are dance club, drama club , music club , coding club , painting club and nso and nss. Here in these areas the college is so good

There are 3 boys hostel and 1 girls hostel. Boys hostels are kalam hall of residence, srk , mvr and girls is kalpana chawla hall of residence. 24-7 electricity and cleaning once in a week. Every floor has a washing machine . Hostel fee is 34,500 per semester.there are single rooms ( for 4th year ) double and triple sharing rooms for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year.

I choose this college for iiit tag and this was the best college at my rank. Because it has also design and manufacturing. I was getting other nits and iiits also but i consider this due to its closeness from hydrabad and bangalore. College also have a with campus with grenery in and around it.college is also equipped with gym , indoor game areas , football ground , basketball area , volleyball area , lawn tennis area and many more.the city kurnool is itself very good city and it is also historic city.

In the first year there are 4 batches in every batch there is a unique faculty for every subject. So, no issue of faculty here . And also the faculties are so helpfull and well understanding that it helps students a lot. I have only given mid sem exam in my first sem , so paper was definitely not that easy but on the moderate side especially in modern physics. But some of the subjects like maths, constitution, and electricity were on the easy side. In the first year all the courses are related to engineering physics and every student have to go through them irrespective of their branch. And the course is very well relevant. Till now i don't see anyone failing in the subjects but can't say about the finals.
