A great college for knowledge and placements

The college is pretty good in infrastructure, placements. But has poor internships and lacks behind in providing real time experience to the students. If the college provides adequate internships and real time work experiences. This would be one of the one of the ideal colleges if it improves in this aspect.

Our college is an autonomous college, affiliated under JNTU, Anantapur. The exam curriculum is set by JNTU, but the exam structure can be fixed by the college itself. There will be 2 internals from which 75% of the marks are considered from the higher scored internal and 25% from the latter.

Placements are great. Last year has been the best year for placements. More than 500 students were placed in companies. Sadly the internship facilities are a little on the lower side. Only one or two companies have come till now.

Our college celebrates a host of events like the annual day, the sports day and the fresher's day which are celebrated in a grand manner. Our college also celebrates Mohana Mantra which is one of the biggest fests celebrated in South India.

The fee must be paid as a one time payment during the beginning of the year. The fee costs about a lakh. Luckily, students with fee reimbursement are provided with a discount of 35,000 for students whose EAMCET ranks are above 10,000, where as for students eligible for reimbursement and having a rank less than 10,000 can have complete reimbursement of 1 lakh.

The college provides free education to certain students from backward areas. There is also fee reimbursement for economically backward students. The reimbursement facility is for financially backward and backward caste students.

The labs are pretty good. The are very well equipped and the equipment is of good quality. The lab are also open for students to practice. The library especially is one of the biggest with highest collection of books.

The hostel infrastructure is pretty good. The block provided for the first years is especially good. The food in the college is excellent. There are ambulance facilities in the hostel for emergency situations.

The alumni network is pretty good. The college helps conduct alumni meets and inspires younger students to achieve the same. A lot of alumni have come to the college since the time I've joined. Inspired a lot of students to achieve better.

The faculty is knowledgeable. They have great skills. They also mentor the students very well. The college is also open to various co curricular activities. The college has an entrepreneur cell provided for budding entrepreneurs.
