Hbtu's campus and life

Chemical engineering that is best branch of hbtu and many companies come here for placement because of the relevancy of the curriculum But there is a little gap between the curriculum and real plant application it can be covered by including more practical topics In lab areas we need improvement because only this can prepare us for plant based jobs in chemical engineering Semester is of about 5 months and there is enough gaps between exams and paper is all about what you learn in class so medium difficult

Many companies come for intership like Reliance, ExxonMobil and many others and they provide sufficient amount of stipend Aa a second year student I don't have any experience of intership We get intership in our 3rd year

For full year course fee is around 135000 Including 75000 as tution fee and other miscellaneous expenses For hostel it is around 60000 including 25000 for hostel plus 36000 for mess You have medical facilities and many other facilities like many beema by college Course fee and hostel fee is same for all the categories and If you opt for fee waiver seat then you don't have to pay tution fee that is 75000 5000 fee is refundable at the end of your course

Adyaay is annual cultural fest and agaz is annual sports fest that is conducted every year that is held in month of February or March Technical fest named technika is also conducted every year There is vast range of books in library almost every book needed for course and also other general books , spiritual books are also present in library For extracurricular activities there are 9 subcouncil related to yoga, hobby, technical, cultural sports,nss andrest subcouncil that helps students to participate in extra curricular activities by conducting many events around the year There is also projector facility in every department for ppt classes , computer labs, every needed lab is there in college All the club present in college is runed by students that helps to maintain there excellence in management area And their personality development

There is enough space in hostel room but there is only three seater rooms available till 3rd year in final year you get single seater room hostel Overall menu is good but taste can very from hostel to hostel but the food quality is not that much good You need to register on the hoste site with all your details and pay the mess and hostel fee and you can go to your respective hostel for allotment of your room and shift in hostel hostel is affordable according to facilitate provided I have taken hbtu girls hostel in campus

I applied for only hbtu college because as per my jee main rank that is 71244 the best branch that I can get was in hbtu also I choose hbtu because it is my state college and near to my home You can get admission in college based on your jee main rank according to cut off of every year Your board percentage should be greater than 75 and you should have cleared cut offs You just simply need to register on hbtu site and pay tution fee during councelling and then prepare all the documents listed and submit in university

There are enough faculties present per branch in the college and faculties are very cooperative they will help you at the best way possible I am telling this from my experience Mr GL Devanani sir who teach us chemical processing the way of teaching is just fabulous there are best attendance percentage in his class Some faculties are rude also as they don't listen to your problem and teach in their own way but this was in first year now our chemical faculties are best There are 3 exams per semester and 8 semester in course There are 2 mid exams containing 15 marks and one end semester examination of 50 marks and rest internal marks given by teachers based on your attendance and behaviour Very few students who don't study fails to clear the exam Curriculum is revelent as it contains practical and theory both
