Course Curriculum Overview
The university mainly focuses on you to attend the classes. Curriculum wise the university is not very much involved there is barely anything outside the classes. Even on certain day of events like Annual Fest they expect to attend classes. Class schedule is so hectic that we barely get any time for ourselves
Internships Opportunities
As a railway university you are provided with an internship at Railway mainly DRM offices throughout INDIA. The intership is good and we learn a lot about railways.the internship was of 15 working days where we visited each division in railway from indoor track and signal management to outdoor servicing and maintenance of trains.
Placement Experience
As a fairly new university. We had our first placement last year which was not up to the par in my opinion. Various branches were placed but the job quality and job was not very good. Most placement were given at very low package like 2.4 lpa to 3lpa
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fees 2700500. Where 32000 is for mess and 26400 is for hostel. Financial aid is provided for those which perform well in JEE. And maintain good CGPA. The fee structure is same for all students despite their categories
Campus Life
The university is currently in it's building stage although we don't have much but we have a small ground which barely qualifies for cricket and football.one basketball court which is used for both basketball and volleyball. Closed Badminton court.No gyms. A fairly good Library. And ok curriculum
Hostel Facilities
Hostels of the university are top class which are well furnished with good quality products and have Ac conditioned rooms with attached bathroom. They are fairly clean and regularly cleaned by the staff. On the other hand university mess is average where they only serve Aloo mostly everyday. And the food is barely edible
Admission
I chose GSV College for its strong focus on Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, which aligns with my academic goals. GSV stood out for its modern labs, knowledgeable faculty, and excellent campus infrastructure. While other colleges had competitive reputations, GSV offered better access to research opportunities and personalized attention from professors. In terms of placements, GSV has strong connections with tech companies, and its placement rates in AI and related fields were higher compared to other options I considered. The fee structure was also more reasonable, with better scholarship opportunities. Although I applied to other colleges, I missed out due to slightly higher cutoffs or intense competition in certain areas. However, GSV’s admission process was smooth and fair. It involved a combination of entrance exams, academic performance, and an interview. Overall, I believe GSV offered a better fit for my career aspirations, and I’m satisfied with my choice.
Faculty
The university is fairly new so we currently don't have much permanent faculty.bit that problem is taken care of by visiting faculty from reputed institute like NIT and IIT. One faculty that teaches us math Navneet Lal doesn't know how to teach and is very arrogant.
