This is largely because the insets such as practical lab content and exercises have a strong bearing in helping me to opt for this course. Further, liberal Arts provides an opportunity to choose focused areas of study in fields such as artificial intelligence and data science thus making the program flexible to a range of career interests. The curriculum is suitable for preparing students for various practical fields. PBPL and internships offers practice-based knowledge, and while workshops and guest speakers discuss current topics and approaches. This combination ensures that we have skills that make us professionals in the modern world, as well as skills that make us aspiring scholars of highest order. However, there are room for enhancement. More frequent industry interactions via additional workshops might supply additional realistic expertise. Further, increasing the opportunities of taking an interdisciplinary course  would improve flexibility in diverse working positions. Sapthagiri College of Engineering has a strong placement and training centre that ensures the students have employment with the right companies. The college is quite industries friendly and conducts placement drives time to time. The college is active in arranging scholarships offered by the Karnataka state government and central government. SCE was preferred over the other colleges mainly for the reasons of practical teaching and linking with an industry. I used to fill my applications to various colleges such as [insert names of colleges] but SCE offered registration to its modern structures and faculty dedicated to its students. I found it critical for my engineering education, other institutions did not offer the same amount of experience in hands on practice and industry oriented curriculum. I got calls from [insert names of confirmed colleges] for admission but because of the concentration given to emerging technologies and the elective system I preferred SCE. However, being that I could not make it to some of the colleges, I was rejected by [insert names of rejected colleges]. In those cases I assume my applications were not as good as they might have been more academically or at least extracurically. The admission process of SCE is quite simple. Applicants who wish to apply should have completed their 10+2 standard education with major subjects being science. The college mostly prefers the scores of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) and ComedK, but KCET is the most popular among students. The passing point in these exams differs from one year to another but in most cases, one has to achieve relatively high marks, due perhaps to the reputation of the college. All in all, I can say that successful admission process done in SCE due to the fact that communication and interactions with the admission staff members were friendly. This commitment to the success of the student made it my pleasure to join the college.
