Dr Ambedkar jayanti is celebrated every year. Nss and other programs happens in auditorium. Naac team visited university in 2023 university was like a bride. There is always workshop and awareness camps going on kavi sammelan and dance singing competition also happens Library has electronic issueing system one of best library I have seen with all sort of book in online too. Uiet lab equipments are not working and 1 smart class in uiet.(Every other department except uiet is 5 star ) Extracurricular activities(outdoor and indoor) always happens in winter season. Uiet won cup in cricket 2023 Social organisations are here like AUDSU ABVP SFI with not so much importance and effectiveness

Hostel rent is given every 6month and every 6month electricity bill of 600rs. Hostel meal is sometimes good sometimes bad but breakfast is always good. Egg is given in the name of non veg on Sunday dinner Hostel is allotted on merit and distance and it is hard to get if you are not bright in study or come from long distance I live in pg 2500rs in shaheed vihar colony near gate no. 1. There is a lot of places to live around here pg and flat

I already took admission in HIT giving 50000 in campus and cancelled it after I got seat here only to come here because it is a central university. Admission here is done using jee and cuet counselling results. Spot counselling also happens for jee and cuet. jee students mainly apply for cs branch Cs cut off is increasing yearly To get cs you need to have high marks but if you are general you will easily get all others course with average marks I came here in cuet spot councelling after getting mechanical branch. I wanted civil branch and faculties told me to apply for civil in spot councelling so I got it easily on 269 marks in cuet.

Civil and ece faculties are best and cs faculty are poor here Two mid sem exam are taken 30 marks each including 20 marks exam 10 marks assignment and class attendance behaviour All faculty in first year are good Math faculty is bad, engg mechanics faculty is very good Mid sem exam are easy. End sem is of 70 marks. You will be given lot of assignments There is a mix of permanent and temporary faculties
