I don’t recommend to join this campus

I opted for electronics and communication engineering because of my interest in this subject and we don't get any practical knowledge of this curriculum except the book knowledge what they teach based on the text books In our college particularly the management and students are so keen towards computer science engineering and not giving much attention to placements or information to other branches in college

The placements are pretty obvious not so great but I'm planning to pursue masters abroad after my graduation so I'm not concerned about the placements but my friends are getting placements in good companies with decent packages

The fees I have paid yearly is of 2,70,000 rupees approximately as this includes all the fees as mentioned like tuition fees registration fees admission fee etc Yes they are providing the scholarships for the eligible students as I didn't get scholarship I'm paying 2.7 lakhs rupees a year where as my friends are paying 25k a year

Every year an academic festival is celebrated called Antaragni which's a celebration for all students and teachers including different types of activities, games, technical sports, dramas, and cultural events They often have inter and intra departments sports meets and other activities which are meant to be celebrated are also being celebrated like yoga day teachers day etc

I stayed in a hostel for two years and those two years were not so good the food is not good and they change the rules of the hostel every now and then based on the mood of the warden they made some of the silly rules like to take the gate pass every time they go out of the campus with parents permission which means parents have to call warden and should tell them to let us go even if we want to buy a tooth paste No facilities were there inside the campus like general store coffe shops etc and pgs are about a kilometre far from the campus

By the time I opted for this college the seats were so fast filling and as I didn't write any entrance exam I didn't get any discounts on the fees I joined this stream of course as a management quota by paying a extra amount for donation The main difference I noticed from other colleges was it wasn't that good in the following things the infrastructure,placements,skilled staff,labs,no other sports facilities

The students are assigned to a different proctors whom they're supposed to meet if they have any concerns and vice versa but the proctors and the class teachers are only bothered about the attendance RV Manjunath sir from electronics department is very good at his work with good subject knowledge and know how to teach and let us understand very well Mr Bharath KN is the probably not so good teacher with least subject knowledge Exams are so easy to clear and score as they are writing vtu exams it's is very good to refer previous years papers and mostly people fail these exams only because of their lack of interest
