I liked the infrastructure of the college very much.
The teaching method is very good and it's done digitally via projector
There are many fest, competition , etc is the college

Dislikes

The time of the college which is for co- ed is morning from 6am
The behaviour of the staffs and some teachers
The campus is comparatively small the many other colleges

Course Curriculum Overview

I choosed B.com (hons) and i am doing CA parallely with it, b.com consits some parts of CA and i find it quiet helpful. Something i want to change in the course is that it's compulsory subjects like English and all like it's totally waste of time and resources. The exams are held in a gap period of around 6 months

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 76000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure per semester is 36000 + 2500 caution money and yearly it goes around 77000 , it may increase as per the college. There is no scholarship provided by the college but i opted for the SVMCM scholarship.

Campus Life

Honestly I am enjoying my campus life very much, like the fest and all and once in a year a bollywood actor comes in our campus for promotion, last year Vicky Kaushal came in our campus for Sam bahadur 's promotion.

Admission

I applied to many colleges like Thk jain, Bhawanipur, Amity and others but bhawanipur is close to my place and it's also very good for the b.com course that i am doing. The admission Procedure is totally online

Faculty

The exams are divided into 2 parts, internal and external. The exam room contains around 50 students and 3 teachers to guard us. The faculty members especially the ones in the office are very rude and not approachable at all

There are placements in the college campus in the last semester with several companies coming for interviews such as big 4 and big 6 companies and the placements are around 60000-70000 per month after the course.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
