Likes
- The infrastructure of the college was excellent. There are lot more facilities which the students could accommodate and the campus is huge which is very sophisticated.
- The faculties were exquisitely knowledgeable and very experienced. The scholars can also get many opportunities by the use of faculties
- The placements were spelendid as the companies coming up offers minimum 8 lpa to 12 lpa for ug students. The pg sectors excels in placements.
Dislikes
- There is a dresscode implemented from 2020 onwards it is a small problem out there which the students feel uncomfortable and stressed out
- The placements awareness has to be implemented among students and the classes should be conducted for encouraging the students who desires to become entrepreneur
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is more relevant to the subjects which includes supply chain management, international trades, global resources, India's foreign trade, etc.., The curriculum is also prepared for the real world applications such the supply chain management which teaches about the logistics, inventory etc.., The timings for the exams is 3 hrs and the marks for this year passing out students 50 50 that is internal 50 external 50 which is easy to write in 3hrs of timing. But for the upcoming students that is who were all studying 2 nd thier pattern is 75 25 internal 25 external 75 which is quite difficult for them to write the exams within 3 hrs
Placement Experience
From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placements and the college trains them with aptitude and communication processes. The famous companies include Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, TCS etc.., The highest pay is around 12lpa and the average would be around 4 lpa The percentage of the students would be 85 to 95% those who were getting placed After my degree my plan is to do higher studies
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure: When I joined the college the fees for my course is 35500.After the completion of first 2 semester the fee got increased to 2000 which includes Maanavaar Mandram fees which is for conducting election for the chairman of the college and the department fees for the development of the departments for organising events and guest lectures. The fees will be increasing by semesters. Scholarship: There are several scholarship schemes available such as for the SC/ST students and for the students who's parents earning was very low and those who were living with single parent those will benefit with the scholarship and can pay the 50 % of the overall fees Scholarship names : NCP Scholarship, The students who excels in sports can also get the scholarships
Campus Life
The culturals conducted are the Heartbeat which is for self financed students and Wizards for the aided students. The library is of separate block which is mainly for the books which there will be around 100000 books in the library. There are basketball court, football court, badminton court and the playground for the students to utilize.
Admission
I didn't apply for any other colleges except PSG CAS The addmission process of my college is merit based or management quota or sports quota. There is both self financed courses and aided courses. The cut-off must be above 90% and it differs by course. The eligibility to get addmission is the 12 th marks with 50% .
Faculty
The faculties of the college were very friendly and approachable.They were all very well trained and very knowledgeable The faculty of students ratio is 1: 60 . There is a faculty named Lissy of B.com e.com department who is very much friendly and very approachable The exams are more relevant to the course and no students fails in the exam
