Course Curriculum Overview
Some basic new aspects of the curriculum that influence my decision is start in our college out of the five state colleges we have in Delhi , IGDTUW is the first one to implement the new education policy which had come. The college is really updated and frequency and timing of exams is manage well
Internships Opportunities
Internship are provided by our college , properly companies are invited and a selection process is done through interviews. Students are required to take a test and submit their projects to acquire a internship Student can also opy for off campus internship. But preferably many students up to 80% get in campus internship
Placement Experience
Placements are offered, many multinational companies and new startup also come to our colleges . Our college is famous for placements . Recently one of the students got 1 crore package in motor q Bangalore. And three students secured package of 70 lakhs Plus
Fees and Financial Aid
I paid 1,47,500 this year as a fresher , there's an annual increment in the fees every year but very negligeble amount is increased. Under 6-7 lakhs whole btech degree will be done ( without hostel) No other charges are there , alumni fees is one time pay and included in first year fee only . There's no difference in fees for other categories
Campus Life
There are many technical festivals and sports festival is also held we have an annual cultural fest as well called Tarrangana The books in library are sufficient for everyone there are very old books and the new ones are also there it gives us the availability to access any of the edition Are college society are very active and sports as well , and we have numerous society which help in the personal growth of students and caters to their need
Admission
I got the admission on the basis of joint entrance examination conducted all over India my rank was not up to the part that I could get into IIT or any other colleges such as Delhi technical University for Netaji Subhash University technology but I got into Indira Gandhi Delhi technical University for women and I am very glad that I am a part of this this call is one of the best college and it has the placements which are rising every year
Faculty
Faculty to Student ratio is 1:70 One teacher per 70 students, but they are very clear and loud plus helpful enough - Some best facilities we have are Mr. Dinesh Ganotra physics department and Mr. Arun sir Our Dean and our DBMS dept teacher - exams are mid term and end term in one semester, no one fails in mid term whatever u score is given in the Marksheet with overall sgpa
