Entrance Preview

I opted JEE MAIN as the entrance exam for this college. My cousin told me about the college and the i decided to took admission in this college.

Internships Opportunities

No internship is provided in UIET. But if a student get placed in any company, then company may provide 6 months training on their own. The stipend depends on the company. normally, infosys, philips, escort etc come in college.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are good for IT and CSE branch. But poor for mechanical and EEE branches. ECE student also get placed ion IT companies but not in core companies .

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is provided by uiet. Like for toppers of every year, tuition fee is revealed. And for GATE scholars 12000 rs scholarship is given by cental government.

Alumni/Alumna

There is a committee working for alumni affairs in UIET. Every year alumni meet took place in uiet. Seniors are very helpful in uiet. They provide nores and also guide for jobs etc. Most of the times senior help for preparation of exams.

Exam Structure

Exams are conducted on semester basis. 2 sessionals are there in every semester. Out of 2, best one is added in final result. Sessional is of 30 marks. 20 marks internal is given by teacher on the basis of quiz, assignment.

Placements of this college is better than many tier 2 NITs . Students are eligible for placement in 8th semester. If we talk about the top companies visiting PEC, these are Apple, Google, Microsoft, American Express, McKinsey, JP Morgan etc.

Placement Experience:

from 5 semester you become eligible for internship and pre placements i think 56 percent of the students get placed i haven't thought much about what i need to do after the degree but definitely i would be considering gaining some experience in this degree to enhance my skills

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Placement Experience:

For placement students can apply in their last year respectively Top recruiters at UICTE include Reliance, GAIL, Honeywell, ExxonMobil, and Technip, offering many roles, but exact offer numbers aren't publicly available. Highest package for chemical engineering this year is 12 LPA and average is around 5 to 7LPA I want to do something of my own after this degree

after 7th semester students are eligible for process of placemet many company recenty visited like tcs and infosys .average pacakage is around 700000 and highest pacakage is around 5200000 . 70% students got placed My plan is to join a good company after degree

There are on compus placement and few companies visit. But very few students are only selected and offered a package of around 5-6 lpa. Oracle, fy, hdfc etc In percentage placement is around 10%. I plan to apply for off campus placements and don't have any plans for mtech or any other cource.

I want to go abroad for higher studies and after that work for a multinational company. I will be able to learn so much about what has been taught to us, the highest package that was given was 42 lakh per annum and the minimum is 10 lakh per annum and CSE gets the highest number of the package.

my college: pros and cons

BEST you can get in low JEE ranks. GREAT ROI.

One can get admission in UIET, CHD by applying for JAC CHANDIGARH counselling. One has to give JEE mains exam and based on its score, JAC Chandigarh conducts counselling through which admissions process occurs. I applied for YMCA Faridabad and DCRUST Murthal as well. I also applied for JOSAA counselling but due to my low rank in JEE mains, I couldn't get any NIT or IIIT. I was getting YMCA or DCRUST but choose UIET over them, because of its location.
