Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum is somewhat outdated, most of what is taught is from old textbooks and old ppts by the faculty and it leads to outdated information. The curriculum encompasses all the topics one needs to study in agriculture but it lacks modern topics like biotechnology The newer topics should be added in depth and the older ones phased out because the older topics are not relevant in todays time

Fees and Financial Aid

I took admission under paid seat so my fees was 25,000 more than others. The base fees was 8000 at the time of admission. Then each even semester the fees is about 2000 and each odd semester it is about 300. The fees has increased for the newer students

Campus Life

5

There are many events going on all throughout the university and anyone can attend and take part in any events so the social life is very happening. IAS has annual function called srishti, sports event called sahas and many more events throughout the year There are many hostel events as well There are also many student run clubs as well for sports, literature, art, etc

Hostel Facilities

3

The rooms are small and very old, it is 2 person occupancy. They provide bed, chair and table along with one closed and one open shelf for storing stuff The hostel has a mess which serves okay food, sometimes good sometimes bad. The students can come together and make changes in the mess as per their needs The registration is easy, the hostel allotment is based on distance of your home from the hostel, and afterwards it is based on the marks obtained in the semester With all the cons, the hostel life is very good and i highly recommend to stay in hostel atleast once

Admission

I gave NEET exam, but i was not able to get a good enough rank so i gave BHU UET as a backup. I got selected in BHU UET only based on my preparation for NEET very easily. I also gave ICAR exam for agriculture but i did not secure a good rank in that exam either The admission process is simple. The student must clear CUET exam and based on the rank, they are given the college

Faculty

4

The faculty is nice with some very highly qualified professionals. Some of them are somewhat bad bit bad people are everywhere. Exams are hectics almost every other month but the marking system is liberal due to internal marking Usually students dont fail, but if the students performs really poorly or is caught cheating then they have to reappear for the exam

Placement Experience:

The placements for the B.Sc Agriculture course at Invertis University are growing but may not be very high compared to technical courses. Some companies visit the campus for agriculture-related roles such as agri-input companies, seed companies, fertilizer companies, and marketing positions. Students with good communication and technical knowledge usually get good opportunities. However, not every student may get a direct campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Students get placed in starting of 4th year that is 7th semester. The companies that often visit are pradhan co.pvt.ltd, seed companies and drone companies also companies like Nestle and britannia visit for placements. Highest ctc in 2025 was 19LPA and the avg was 7.5 LPA these data are also available on nirf site. Nearly 30% students get placed because remaining prefer higher studies over placement, those who are financially weak consider placement. My plans are different, I'm preparing for CAT and want to persue mba in agribusiness management from iim ahmedabad or iim lucknow.
