- The best thing is that this college provides open learning facility to learners so that they can learn while working.
- Classes are held on weekends and students can clear their doubts about any topic or subject.
- Students are asked to prepare assignments before appearing in exam. By doing so, their practical knowledge is evaluated.
Dislikes
- Worst thing is carelessness of ignou staff. They lost practicals of students and don't update marks.
- Second thing I disliked is delay. Ignou updates marks of students's exams and assignments very late.
Course Curriculum Overview
I passed my 12th with commerce stream. And i am interested in study of management. So, I choose this course. This curriculum provides internship so students can be prepared for real-world applications. The course curriculum should also include some managerial skills so that students can be placed at top ranks. Teaching method also needed to improve. Online classes should be given on regular basis so that no doubt remain in learner's mind.
Internships Opportunities
Under internships, roles of marketer, advetiser, promoter etc. are given in various companies with a little package On the job training and viva voce are outcomes to clarify the tasks. Learners have to work under internship to get practical knowledge about the course.
Fees and Financial Aid
My yearly fees is Rs. 9,000. If a student choose study material in digital form instead of printed form, he can get 15% discount on annual fees. Students must have to submit exam fees of Rs. 200 per subject to appear in exams. There are not any other fees other than this. I belong to BC-B category but my fees is equal to general category students.
Campus Life
Not any annual and technical festivals. Range and accessibility of books and journals is also very limited in the library. Neither any technological provisions nor any other facility in classrooms. No sports and extracurricular activities offered on. We learners are connected to each other through a WhatsApp group.
Admission
I didn't apply any other college except this. Because I am working in a company and this college provides open learning facility. Admission process in my college is very simple. Student should apply online, choose course, select study centre and pay fees for confirmation. There is not any entrance exam for admission. Applicant must be 12th passed from any recognised board.
Faculty
Faculty-to-student ratio is 30:1. Faculty to student relationship is very good and approachable. I like almost all of the faculties because of their supporting nature towards students. There were four exams in first year, five in second year and there are six in final year. Level of exam is easy to moderate. Approximately 20% students fail to clear the exams.
