My review for the college i had to join

I chose CSE because it was a easier subject than any other courses Our colleges curriculum is not that well prepared to apply in real world applications Teaching methods need to be improved Rather than explaining a ppt or pdf they can show us proper codes and its outputs The frequency of exams is more They need to cut down exams because in the last 1 and a half month all we have is exams We have minors then after a week lab externals then after a week mid exams then in 3 days after mids we have end sem exams

Intership opportunities are given to yhe students who pay extra 10000 for training and placement They give training and help in intership opportunities Not many interships are given with a stipend Instead we do free interships Ltm mindtree offers interships etc. We have 2 projects one is major and other is a minor project

From 7th semester students are eligible for placements TCS,vipro,accenture , amazon are some companies Highest package is 1500000 Average package is 400000 Not many students get placed We have traning and placement from 3rd year of our college and we will be given training for interview and placement purposes My plans after the degree is either to do an MBA or start a startup

Btech CSE Tuition fee: 125000 Additional fee : 3000 Other fee: 8000 Fee of my batch mate CSE: 98000 after scholarship Merit scholarships Management seat 300000 + 136000 for first year 2nd,3rd,4th - 136000 Btech CSE : 1st , 2nd years 125000 3rd ,4th years 105000

We have two fests every year One is Sumshodini which is a technical fest that happens on 2 days Second is Sanskrithi it is a cultural fest But it was cancelled last year because they were only willing to put it in the college hours which is from 9:00am to 4:00pm Our college doesnt promote any fests whatsoever The college life ,social activity is very very less And coming to clubs even if we join in one they see us as an odd one out but not unique one out We have a student body SAIL which promotes innovation,incubation,entrepreneurship and leadership

I choose this college because my brother also studied in the same college and I feel other colleges have better opportunities and better exposure for students. I couldnt make it to other college because i wrote my exams bad

Faculty to student ratio am not sure about but each faculty acts as a counselor for 6 people Best faculty is CSE faculty They have better knowledge and are classy Faculty i dont like are the civil and mechanical faculty because they are too rough on students and focus too much on unnecessary things and target cse students in the 1st year because we wouldnt have those subjects in the future We have 5 exams per semester 2 minors for 10m each 2 mid exams for 30m each End sem 60 marks For mid exams ,the marks are finally deduced to 30m from 70% of the best mid and 30% of the other Few students who fail to understand the concept and work on assignments are the ones who fail The exams are relevant to the course curriculum
