Best of college in Ahmedabad

Not negative or positive but some area where I think college or university need to work on like infrastructure facilities, provide more technical knowledge as compared to theroritcal one, parking space issues is also major problem etc.

The course curriculum was good it's cover almost everything in first year we learnt basic C,C++, Data structures,maths etc whatever we learn in BCA.In 2nd and 3rd year we learn advance and new course like BI(Data warehouse etc), artificial intelligence,DAA, Python, Android,advance statistics. So overall course curriculum cover everything. Everyday we have 2 hrs practical and in 1 week 1 practical evaluated in each subject this marks counted in final as well. This practical evaluation contain 75% weight. Apart from this we have internal exam and final University exam. In Internal exam we need to score out of 30 and if we fail this exam we need to give retest then and then we are eligible for final University exam. Final Exam contain 2 section and each section contains 50 marks. We have total 3 hrs and 100 marks exam. Beauty of this exam is both the section of University exam check by different faculty which means first section check by someone and secondone check by someone else.

We have large amount of job opportunities in our college. For master around 30 companies are visited in our campus among them Amazon,SAP, Morgan Stanley,TCS , Infosys, cognizant,CloudThat etc. In our college one placement cell is there he is connected to respected company and scheduled the interview and entrance exam. Each branch have one placement coordinator that connect to placement cell and placement coordinator guide whole branch.Yes, our college is provided internship as well. people who selected for respective company in my case (TCS ) so they communicate to respective company and provide internship for selected student if students are welling to do internship then they agree our the email. I have completed my 4 month internship in TCS Gandhinagar in BI(SQL and script language I learn) for us they are not provided any kind of stipend in some other city they provided but for us nothing is there.

In 3 year we have celebrated various events like NU-Tech,Sports/Cultural Activities,Foundation Day,Parents Teacher Meeting,Workshop,Student Development Program,Public Lecture,Expert Lecture,National Seminar, various hackethon etc.In NU-Tech we played different different game like treasure hunt, 1 minute games , Counter strike competition etc.In sports we played cricket,football,table tennis,carrom, badminton etc. We were runners up in 2017 cricket tournament.Aprt from sports we have various singing events, expert lectures, Student development program was organised during my master journey.

I personally feel fee structure is to expensive as per college infrastructure because we don't have any single AC in our room and even fan is to high so some time we exhausted. In monsoon season we face to many problems in classroom most of classroom contains to much waters from windows and that water stuck over there because of that to many mosquitoes come over there. We have good lab facilities and canteen facilities that is plus point. We have 5 to 6 canteen and 7 to 8 library in our university.For MCA course total fees for 1 year is around 1,30,000 rs.Overall 3 year fees is around 3,90,000.

Yes, College provide one good scholarship called NITAA. Person who toped each semester got scholarship from NITAA and I think they need to pay online 10 or 20% fees only. I'm not a topper in my college so I never received this kind of scholarship.

Yes, we have very good amount of extracurricular activities in our college like cricket, singing, football,table tennis,drama, anchoring etc. As I told earlier we have very good lab facilities and sports equipment in our college and various tournament is also going on each and every year.

Yes, they are very helpful and guided us in right path.Every year we have alumni meeting and we share our thoughts and view points to college and towards to junior so they can improve their skills and weakness. In alumni meeting seniour alumni share their experiences with all and share the industry and company level experience among us.

Each and every faculty is good and some of the faculties are extra ordinary in there subject. Every day we have 5 theroritcal lectures and 2 hrs practical lab. most of Faculties are pursuing PHD and I think 1 and 2 faculty achieved PHD degree as well. each and every faculty are personally touch with students and the way he or she teach us mind blowing. In our class some of the non technical students as well as so for them they give some extra task and more Focus on them so they can sync with IT student because they came from BCOM and some other background. They scheduled extra classes for non IT student so they can learn programming very fast and if they fell any kind of difficulty then they can easily focus on their wekness.
