Remarks

I am proud of my college. It's extra curricular activities, weekly events are great. The faculty is cool and cooperative. Our dean is the coolest guy. It helps us improve our academics and gives us exposure of life.

Course Curriculum Overview

Exams are held like internals and direct semester. The faculty is great and obviously cooperative. They help the students to build and enhance their personalities which is very much important in college life.

Placement Experience

They provide internship and it's quite reliable source. Proper certificate and guidance are provided from the college faculty which is very helpful for the students in their career building. Many seminar are conducted to educate the students about the same

College Events

Bhawanipur college is known for it's events. Every other week there is a new event. Which is amazing and super exciting. They also encourage the students to participate and volunteer in their events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure for bcom 1st yr is around 47000 which is quite expensive in Kolkata but if you compare with other cities it's quite reliable. Infant in school we were charged double or triple fees for a year.

Fees and Financial Aid

College gives us merit based scholarships. Like anyone about 90% in isc and cbse and 80% in wb boards can get a 100% scholarship which is quite encouraging. This motivates the students to do best in their boards.

Campus Life

Bhawanipur is famous for its extracurricular activities. They have maintained sports arena with all the required accessories. A well managed labs sports activities in college is a bliss for the students.

Alumni/Alumna

Bhawanipur is having a great network of alumni. We have a lot of helpful senior which guide us in every possible manner. They help us in adopting the nature and elegance of college life which is very helpful for newcomers.

Faculty

The faculty is great and super cooperative. They help the students to build their personalities which is a very important part in college life. They help us provide the exposure we need and also with all these they help us in all our education.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
