- There is more or less equal ratio of boys and girls.
- Syllabus wise both theory and practical is covered.
- Friendly faculty and extracurricular activities are performed.
Dislikes
- The fee structure for exams and re-evaluation is high.
- There is no canteen in college campus outside shops only available.
- There is only lunch break but no short breaks between classes.
Course Curriculum Overview
This college gives knowledge of this course and many seminars and webinars were conducted to improve the knowledge of the students at its best. The teaching method is based on the facilities someone uses ppt and some will use boards. The exam is semester wise which is 2 per yr and 2 sessional and 1 model exam for each semester.
Placement Experience
After completing 7th semester the students are opt for campus placement. Areete life science and valgenesis and alambeic companies are came forward for placements. The highest salary package is 20000/month. I plan to go to pg studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for b.pharm is 150000/yr not included uniform, notebook fee and exam fee. There no specific scholarship for students if you want can get from outside. The facilities and infrastructure are decent and academic support by staffs are excellent. Every activity are done as per pci norms.
Campus Life
There will annual or sports meet and pharmacist week was celebrated every year. The library provide all standard books for each year. And journals section also there. There is projector and keyboard in each classroom. The sports can be played at Balaji medical college and campus near by pharmacy college. There is college official website and also website for alumni and also there is YouTube channel for college.
Admission
I applied mgr university madhuravoyal and pallavaram vels college of pharmacy for the same course B.pharm and I choose this college for its facilities and transport facility that is this college is located near railway station with walkable distance compare to other colleges. And also MTC bus stop is nearby for students.
Faculty
Relationship between faculty and student is appreciable and they are friendly and helpful with academic. The main faculties or hod of college are Vijayakumar sir and masillamani sir and Sivakumar sir did great job. The exam are neither easy nor difficult which is average and acceptable. The arrear student rate will be always low.
