Overview of Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University, Dehradun

Industries are shifting from manual to automation in terms of manufacturing and production , which influenced me to choose electrical and electronics engineering as their is scope in this field. Also no one replace or ai robots / machine cannot replace us. I can say i do not regret it. you just need skills such as autocad, basic electrical and electronics compoment knowledge, plc programming, SCADA. these are present industries standard that companies expect from freshers or students.

If polytechnic , you are eligible for campus placements in semester 5. In B.Tech , you are eligible for campus placements in 4th year. more than 5 + number of companies visited, placement 90% confirm. In polytechnic 2-5 lakhs package, depend on student performance , average package is 3 lakhs. 95% percentage of students got placements , and other has their father business to handle. Done polytechnic , currently studing B.Tech EE in DBUU.

Annual and technical are called pinak , it is consist of 3 to 7 days. Fresher Day. Approximately 20,000 range and accessibility of books and journals available in the library. cricket ,football , basketball activities offered on campus.

hot water available in winter for every hostel. two sitter room come with attach room. meal quality & menu is average , eggs will get at wednesday meal night, milk at every night , chicken in sunday meal at night. you will get many PG and rooms for rent. registration process for hostel is very easy. during admission ma'am / sir ask you that u want hostel & transport facilities. 90,000 for two sitter room, 1,20,000 for three sitter room.

I applied infromation of my in froum for university admission. Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University is the first one that contact me first before other university contact me. admission process was very smooth and fast in the dbuu. admission cell clear mention or explained required documents , fee structure. other reach out to me but it was too late . you can see DBUU banner everywhere in uttarakhand. placement cell alway active or ready for admission. By the way, academic fee is low compare to other universities

The faulty to student relationship is very good, faulty understand students problems . The faculty-to-student ratio is not that bad. I can not mention name of the faculties but i can say all faculties in polytechnic (EE/EC)/B.Tech (EE/EC) are very good , sometime they become strict but for students good future. some student deserve strict as students don't take their studies seriously and don't behave good.There are two exam :- Internal exam, External or Semester exam. In polytechnic internal exam answer sheet is check by Dev Boomi Uttarakhand University faculties. In External or Semester exam is in done in the (Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University)dbuu university but answer sheet is check by ubter[Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, rookee]. Applied Mathematic -1, Applied Mathematic-2, Engineering Drawing-1, Engineeering Drawing -2 are the subject in which polytechnic student mostly fail as question paper is of 100 marks and it's answer sheet is checked by ubter faculties. It's passing marks are 25 minium marks. for other subject which are theroy based . question paper made up of 50 marks and their minium marks for passing is 13 marks. In polytechnic Electrical engineering , Sunny sir teach digital electronics , he is also HOD of polytechnic department. Make sure you have 75% attendence in his subject. Semester exam is divided in two part , one is theroy exam and second is practical exam , both contain 50 + 50 = 100. Make sure to make proper practical file and it is checked by teacher / lab faculty time to time. Theroy exam is easy if students study . As I mentioned before study hard in applied mathematic - 1 ,applied mathematic - 2 , Engineering Drawing - 1 and Engineering Drawing - 2 . Many students don't study these subbject. UBTER is very strict while checking these subject answer sheet. In 1st year all department such as polytechnc ee,ec , civil, mechnical and cse students classes are conduct in combined classes.
