Remarks

You sould definitely opt for this college if you are looking for part time MBA i.e PGDBA in any specification. Faculty is awesome even there are sophisticated people opting for the course.

Entrance Preview

I did a Diploma of HR from Wlingkar, so had a direct entry in 2nd sem of MBA. Didnt opt for any entrance exam. Welingkar is one of the top 10 institutions for part time MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview

It has 2 semesters in a year. In 2nd year we have project. Exams were online. Projects are of 200 marks, each with VIVA. Almost 6 subjects for each semester.

Internships Opportunities

Im currently in my 2nd semester, yet to go through the internship. But I am doing my part time MBA from welingkar, as im already working wont be opting for internship.

Placement Experience

They do have campus interviews conducted for students. When i was completing my Diploma from Welingkar, i had few companies coming for campus interviews.

College Events

We have lot of events in college. As the final year event. Also we have a lot of IV's taking place in 2nd year as well as some educational camps too. This also has marks offered for the same, max of 20.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was very feasible. As i was a Lateral entry i had some discounts for my MBA. We have to pay some amount while taking admission. With that we have to give checks with postdated.

Fees and Financial Aid

I do not have knowledge about the same. But you can surely ask the welingkar office about the same.

Campus Life

They do have a very big campus, very versatile faculty. They also have a lot of events happening every year, but mostly are for full time MBA students. If you are not working or opting for full time can avail the facilities.

Hostel Facilities

I didnt stay in hostel. But as per my knowledge they dont provide any hostel facility. They have colleges all around India so students need not opt for hostels, thats the best part of welingkar.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

They arranged convocation for Diploma for us, The preparation was awesome, many of the Ex- students wer also invited to manage the event. They have a beautiful set up of food and dance floor.

Exam Structure

We have semester pattern. One year has Two semesters, In each semester we have two exams. Mid term and Final termMid term has 50 marks exams where as final has 100 marks exam.

It was very helpful. As we did not have lectures, it was all online. We have been assigned with doubt sessions every month (optional). We even had there email ids to contact them whenever needed, just in case we could not manage to go to the college.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. No such bad remarks though. The Real College Life

I was admitted through CMAT examination. The minimum cutoff to qualify was 80 but I had scored 97.5%. The admission process consisted of GD followed by PI, with moderate level of difficulty. The fee structure last year was 14,00,000 for two years but for the current year they have increased it to 15,50,000 for the entire 2 years.
