About my college

Only negative thing about our college is the campus area. It isn't big, so it's difficult to play all the sports. And its crowded too. Guards are rude. And in canteen only south indian foods are given no north indian foods are given.

Course curriculum is more theoretical rather than practical. But recent changes in course curriculum is making it more practical. There are 3 internal exams during each semester out of which best two marks are considered. And a final semester end exam is held at end of the semester. Finals marks is best two marks of internals and 50% of semester end exam.

We have a very good placement statistics in branch cse,ise and ece. Most of the students get placed in these branches. Best packaegoes around 25lpa.Our college provides internship for 4th year students. Average stipend goes around 7lpa in our college.

We have a cultural fest named TECHNIEKS held annually. It consists of many events like singing, dancing, acting and many kinds of games. Many celebrities also come to this fest. Apart from this, we have many branchwise fests.

For those students who have come through kcet exam. Its feasibile. For those who have come through comedk,its expensive. For kcet students its around rs 50k annually which is very cheap and feasibile. But for comedk students its around 185k per annum.

There are few scholarship facilities for local kannadiga students and for scheduled cast students. They provide sponsorship of around 40k per year for scheduled cast students. For kannadigas they provide sponsorship based on their GPA.

There are few clubs in our college based on technology, entrepreneurship, robotics, racing cars. Students actively participate in these. Lab are proper and up to date. We have proper and sufficient equipments. In sports we have cricket, volleyball, foote, hockey, softball, kabbadi and many more

I haven't opted for hostel but my friends stay there. There are 3 hostels in our college, 2 for girls and 1 for boys. All the hostels have good facilities like free wifi, hotwater, power supply and gym.But food quality isn't nice.

There is an alumni meet held every year. There is a good network of senior graduated students with the college. They are very helpful. They stay in touch with us. In case we want any help regarding placement training. We can talk to them.

Faculties are good in terms of knowledge. Few are really good in terms of teaching but few are really bad too.In mechanical branch, teachers are the best ones and in information science teachers are the worst.
