This (NEP) is a 4 year course during which we develop deep understanding about the subject. Exams are held semester wise. Odd semester exam is subjective while even semester are Objective. Exams duration is of 3 hours. Moderate level. Practicals and experiments are also included in the curriculum.You get admission in 4th year only when your marks are above 75%. 4th year is research year after which you get a degree in research but if you drop after 3rd year, you get a graduation degree. After 4 year course you can directly get admission in PhD.

In department of psychology, Internships are usually done in KGMU. Or with NHM , WHO etc It differs from course to course and company to company , I have no idea about other departments. But psychology department offers good internship opportunities at mental health services

Usually after masters. Placements can be seen SBI , ICICI, SAMSUNG, PAYTM, ONGC, HCL , MRF , Bajaj Highest : 18lpa Average: 8.5 lpa 42% placement is offered in highest positions I have to pursue PhD after research degree

Tuition fee : 735 Subject fee : 4000 Others : 3000 Goverment aided fee (-663) paid by state government This was per semester fee so if we have to see fee per year just double it. Hostel fee is approx 5000/ sem And 2000 mess fee

Sanskrati surabhi is the annual cultural and sports festival. Usually held in September Wide range of books in every field. Department library as well as common library. Digital classrooms are available NCC and physical education is acknowledged and other events in sports are organised regularly Enormous groups in every department. Psychology department has Psych hub club which organises many events including recently organised mental health camp on world mental health day. Various famous clubs include debating club , performing arts club etc.

Hostel rooms are neat and clean with clean washrooms (common) usually rooms are double seater but single and triple seater are also available. Each candidate is given a bed , a study table, a cupboard and a chair . Hostels here are very very good. Quality of food is good . We get variety of food in the menu. Options are available. Breakfast, lunch , evening snack and dinner is offered everyday. Soon after admission, hostel forms are released and students can apply. Hostels are allotted on the basis of merit in entrance exam. Or previous exams Earlier I rented a pg in babugnj, nirala nagar at the walking distance.

I also applied in BHU , I got selected too but admission procedure was late there. I got to know that psychology department of LU was established earlier than BHU and is more esteemed. No I did not get rejection. I just couldn't apply to DU because of subject mapping. I had science in class 12th but I had to pursue arts now so domains clashed. You have to apply for admission online , you have to go for the entrance exam , soon after results would be announced, fill the subjects preferences etc , soon the list of selected students is announced, further a date is given for physical document verification. if needed, hostel applications begin soon after admission.

Faculty is well experienced and generous. They are connected to students and always support us in every way possible. They help us with doubts and concepts. In dep of psychology HOD Dr. Archana shukla herself is well connected to students and acknowledge each and every student in the department. Dr Hansika Singhal ma'am , Dr. Manini Srivastava ma'am, Dr. Megha Singh ma'am are very hard working and teach really good. If you have attended te class and know your subject, exams are not a big deal if you stay consistent.
