The course is well designed and structured keeping in mind academic and non academic areas of improvement that are neccesary. It includes teachings in computer programming and logical reasoning and lays good foundation for excelling in the field of software and programming. The curriculam here prepares us really well for real world applications as along with the theoritical and practical learnings in our field of software we are also taught communication skills and many other essential elements that play a vivid role in building and inndividual. There are a lot of areas where the course still can improve like it should behold more practical approaches for learning and it should include more industry based learning so that the students can get more in field experience. The frequency and timing for the exams are very well structured and excellent as per their difficulty level there could be nothing better than the prevailing one.

being the student of first year i dont have much knowledge about the internships opportunities offered but till i have heard from our seniors it that there are companies which the college have tie up with which provides internships to students. pregrad, upscale, iaste this are some of the community that deals and provide internships to students joined with them.

The students are eligible to sit in the placement drive from the 7th semester. There are various companies that visit campus during placements like microsoft, tcs ,infosys, au bank , amazon , accenture , autodesk, hp , muthoot finance , cognizant and many more total of 2008 offers were made last year and out of which 289 students were placed above 10 lakhs . The college provides decent placement with the highets package of 52lpa and average of 6.8lpa.

The overall fees for btech cse (core) course is 220000 along with 10000 security deposit which they say is refundable. The hostels are like flats where you can get ac and non ac rooms. The ac rooms cost around 165000 per year and the non ac rooms cost 135000 inside the campus. They also have hostels off campus seperate for girls and boys which are all ac and cost 135000 with additional electricity bill.

Campus life is okayish only the hostels timing are very strict and there is nothing much you can do. There are a lot of clubs and community but still they are not much active in conducting events on regular basis in the campus so sometime it gets too boring to be in the campus.The annual fest rythum is a very good event of three days which is the only event i feel which is worth it . The classrooms are well equiped with furniture and projectors in each and every class and many of them too have tv screens. Sports is not much the main attraction you can see in the college only those who are willing to play and have enough skills do maintain daily practice and training in the grounds.

The hostel facility both in and out campus are very good the rooms are well furnished and have proper maintanence and cleaning on regular basis. The hygine is maintained in the food making process but the taste is not good at all. To register for the hotel you have to visit the campus and have a word with the staff assigned and continue with some documentation. One thing that i wuld recomend is not to take the off campus hostel of the college its too far from the city and college to and there are nothing around that hostel.

Frankly speaking this college was my last choice as i couldn't make into ohter good colleges that i had applied for so it was quite obivous for me to choose jecrc university but still its a decent college with a good amount of exposure and aslo the placements are decent in comparision to other colleges that i was eligbile for. The only think i felt that went wrong because of which i couldn't get my college of choice was mainly due to financial constraints and secondly due to less score in jee main exam {92.9 percentile} also what is feel is that i should have applied to more colleges so that i could possibly get more options to choose from. The admisssion process here is quite simple there is no minimum cutoff that we have to clear for admisssion we just have to fill an online form and visit the campus further to complete fee payment and documentation.

The faculty at jecrc is good they all are easily appraochable and they are always ready to help even at late nightds if we came across any doubts they are always ready to help. The course structure comprises of two semester per year per semester you will have three in sem exams out of which the third one is optional for those who had not given the any one of earlier one due to any medical reason or other and at the end of every semester there is end sem exams. The attendance criteria is followed strictly in the end sem exam and you must have attendance of 75% in each of your subjects.The exam. The exams are not much difficult in fact most of the questions are based on your assignments which you will get in each subject after the end of every unit [there are total of five units per subject per semester].
